Love some good crappie video and appreciate the info. Thanks. Get the operation on that thumb and be done with it. I’ve had 5 trigger finder operations (age 71 and dealing with too much guitar playing over the years). It is a piece of cake. Maybe 7 days recovery time and you are good to go.

I am a little shy when it comes to scalpels. I would need to build up my courage first. I guess it is just payback from sticking so many hooks in all those innocent fish!

I can relate to the thumb pain. I ended up going to physical therapy last year when mine got so bad. They said it’s something they are seeing with teenagers from being on their smart phones. lol. Hope it gets better soon. Mine was so bad I couldn’t hold things in my left hand. Check out a PT. They did wonders.

I worked in Information Technology for more than 32 years programming computers which is a lot of keyboard typing and mouse moving. I guess I am seeing some signs of excessive hand usage. I am sure I will be fine with a little rest and some ice packs. I appreciate your positive thoughts for my recovery and I hope the ice bags patch me up because I don't want an injection, surgery or anything else. However, if I have to choose something I would take the therapy. LoL. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

I ended up having tendon release surgery on my thumb and both of my indexes, world of difference.

I think I had an injection in the other thumb last year. That will be my first try then if that doesn't work I will consider the operation. Thanks for the information!

Love the videos. Why does the screen jump on your livescope?
@HookLegends3 ай бұрын
Good question! It does not jump when looking at it directly. If you were in the boat it would look smooth as silk. It is a camera issue that is correctable. I forgot to turn the backlight on the livescope screen up to 95-100 percent which usually resolves the camera issue. I am also concerned that he increased backlight setting in 100 degree temperature might cause overheating of the 1222. I will do a quick update video to talk about what the fix was for my overheating unit. My high end camera does not record the flickering but it is also larger and can't fit between me and the livescope without impacting my view. I use a sports camera on my chest for recording up close that has a smaller sensor. You may notice that the introduction and fishing clips are not the same quality due to different cameras. Thanks for watching and for the question!

I just laugh at them and smile when they tell me the crappie aren’t biting. Fish feed everyday . Fish bite every day . I fish 100 plus days a year so I average fishing 2-4 days week depending on my work year . In the last 6 years I haven’t had a day I didn’t catch a limit of 25 keepers that I brought home . Fish bite everyday and can be caught everyday . I caught them this last Wednesday and Thursday midday my favorite time to fish and it was 103° both days .

I back off a little once it gets to 100 degrees for safety reasons even though I feel good. The key is staying hydrated. Once our house is built on the lake I will be doing some night fishing also. Thanks for the comment and for watching!
