This is more exciting than it sounds! What happens to the temperature of the remaining air in a sealed tank if you pump most of the air out? How about what happens to the temperature in that same tank if the remaining air is at room T and atmospheric pressure, room-temperature air is allowed to flow back in until the pressure equilibrates?
