One of the things I noticed almost immediately was how the first person (a lady) used "and" so frequently, and I felt uninterested in her story. I learned from Vinh that using "and" so frequently makes your story feel loaded with too much information, making it uninteresting; alternative joining words could be "but", "so" etc. I have been following and learning from you vinh for a while now on your socials, I got to know you this year and it's been a knowledge full, and practical learning. I'm just saying Thank you for being the one I look up to in building my communication skills.

One piece of good advice: just play your role, even if you lack passion. It’s hard to do, but with time, your communication skills will improve.

This is just meta! I have never really noticed that people tell stories all the time when speaking. And many of them are boring and not engaging (like mine). But applying these techniques can boost the skill of storytelling to the sky.

I think what you need is just practice and visualise yourself speaking fluently and with confidence until you make it one day...Practice is key, it'S like driving (like Vinh said once)
Confidence comes from competence. And competence comes from practice. This can be controlled practice, say with a coach or on your own, or in real life situations. If you're a nonnative English speaker you may need some outside advice to make sure your pronunciation is clear or grammar etc is effective. Working on this and getting feedback will help you know where you're at. If you're good... Then there's less to worry about.

I believe sometimes I struggle with what to say, when I was younger I use to be a good story teller and now I feel that I have forgotten how to imagine, and if I do imagine it takes me time to picture pictures to tell.. I also speak and think in a convoluted way and I lose my listeners... im broken and can't be fixed :(
