@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair so you didn't have to bleed the cooling system? & could a runner control valve cause coolant to build up more pressure & start leaking ?, i took of my runner valve trying to clean it and put it back on to find coolant starting to come the hose under my radiator cap from the end of the hose seems so much pressure caused a leak to start , no mechanic in my area seems to be familiar enough with intake manifold runner control valves.
@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair4 жыл бұрын
@@FCES_Electrical_Sol the intake runner valve is driven by wire so there shouldn't be coolant around it, unless I misunderstood your question, I didn't bleed the cooling system after replacing the thermostat just start it and you should be good to go, you can let it idle for a few minutes without the cap on... it sounds like your problem is somewhere else... is it overheating?
@FCES_Electrical_Sol4 жыл бұрын
@@KITS_Auto_and_Truck_Repair no it's not overheating but it seems it built up some much pressure in the coolant hose that it created a leak right under the radiator cap , I just replace the radiator about 2 weeks ago , I was thinking that the intake manifold was dirty with carbon build up because I have fault codes (p0171) (p2017).
