Press HOLD to permanently adjust the temperature. This will override the temperature settings for all time periods. The “Hold” feature turns off the program schedule and allows you to adjust the thermostat manually, as needed. Whatever temperature you set will be maintained 24 hours a day, until you manually change it, or press RUN to cancel “Hold” and resume the program schedule. Note: Make sure the thermostat is set to the system you want to control (heat or cool)” so if you wanna do it manual and forget your schedule, switch with the arrows n press “hold”for a second or two

Ppl must come home by a default time, and leaving on the same time, also they have to search online for days to find a manual to only read it. And sometimes it locked on 28cels and no matter which button people press, it’s the same. Why choose this career?

I am a very firm believer in set it and forget it. Changing the temp up and down really uses more energy as it takes along time to get the house back up to temp once you run it down.

Thanks for the help. I definitely wasn’t going to program each day. But that hold button is a pretty good idea to override the whole system. The way my apartment came programmed with this in the ac is way too cold and draws way too much power and energy monthly. This will be helpful.

Reading these comments, I think we should organize - if not a rebellion or class action suit, then maybe a support group. I passed a couple bar exams, but I can't figure out how to work this f-ing thing, so I watched this and other videos. EVEN AFTER WATCHING THE VIDEOS I CANNOT MAKE IT CONSISTENTLY HEAT OR COOL! it's like the instructions in this video are for when the thermostat is sober, but mine is always drunk and won't play by some "narcs" idea of what a thermostat should be. I am rolling the dice every single time I try to get it to do something, hoping that eventually my bet will pay off. PS: WINTER IS COMING!

He already told you, just use the HOLD button to override it forever. That's how I am using it now, i'll turn it on when I need it, and turn it off when I need it. Put whatever tem u want then press hold.

Finally found the video to confirm my programming setting. After I run the setting, the time of day(wake, leave, return, sleep) appears but AC temperature does not go down to my temperature that I saved in the program. Either my mistake, or AC not working correctly, or my house doesn't have good insulation..

I know you mean well but it's not really helping me first of all I have a schedule where I'm in and out and in and out and would just like to be able to turn my heat up or down the old-fashioned way. I try hitting it up so I can warm it up higher when I'm at home and it doesn't move it has nothing to do with batteries I am wondering do you think my thermostat is broke.
