Sir question here. I have problem with may kia soul2011 1.6. radiator fan motor not working. But when a/c is on, It works. Now we replace everthing (fuse, relay,thermo switch,radiator resistor) ,check the lines connections, but still nothing happens. Now is it possible that the thermostat can do something about it? Thank you

I have a 2011 KIA SPORTAGE 2.0 LITRE TURBO and wanted to change the coolant thermostat. Does it come with a housing for that model year or I can just purchase the thermostat?

I overtightened and the hole the bolt screws into came out. Please tell me if/how I can repair please! Thank you. 2013 Kia Forte Ex 2.0 Litre California Emissions, and 3 bolts holding it in.

Hey, my 2018 kia forte ex is running hot but the heater won't blow hot. I replaced the thermostat housing assembly. It's still doing the same thing. Do you have any ideas what may be wrong or how to fix it.

It could be a clogged heater core. I don't know if you found out what was wrong, but if you fixed it, let me know.

My 2018 kia soul plus temputure gauge was stuck on cold for 1 hr I aded antifreeze then it went back to normal but it seems like I’m low on violent car hasent overheated

I am thinking the same, i guess it is possible if we jack up the car and access from the bottom. Might need to remove the under cover protection board first.

I just replace the alternator by my own, i can give you the confirm answer that yes can do this without remove the intake, but have to remove the alternator for easy access.

bought new July 2018 kia forte 4 cyc engine, 17,100 miles, 4 door sudan. lx. engine light went on code 128 says Thermostat needs to be replaced.. told only The whole unit was the only way to replace, thermostat. Couldn't phyically replace just the thermostat, has to be the whole unit. ?????? Is this so?

Pal, you need to modify or delete this video because it's wrong. I have the exact same setup in my 2018 Kia Forte and found out the hard that the doce 16 valve 2.0 liter uses TWO THERMOSTATS. One on each radiator hose. That's why everyone's cars are overheating.

I have the same year and model. The thermostat can't be replaced, I had to buy a thermostat Housing assembly. It definitely wasn't the same set up from this video.

Looks absolutely nothing like a 2010 Kia Soul. The ease at which the video makes it appear changing a thermostat on a 2010 soul is quite misleading.
