THERMOSTAT TEST FOR NATURAL GAS STOVE

Had to test a cooling thermostat that controls the fan on our natural gas stove that we use to heat the house in winter. I couldn't find anything on KZbin or the internet to explain how to do this. Found all kinds of vids on how to test a heater thermostat in appliances like ovens, or for a home HVAC system (wall thermostat for a hot air furnace), and even how to test your engine thermostat on your car.
Unlike all those other thermostats which turn on when it gets cold (and they are called heating thermostats), this one works by turning on when it gets hot.
