Brings back many memories of taste and people. The fried garlic is a plus.....difficult to find here in the US, even in Asian market places and supermarkets. I have a small stash I've hoarded for years. But there's nothing like the real thing in the right setting. Best thing was, no farangs, then you know the food is great and fresh.
@pannachawangkul5853 жыл бұрын
You can make your own Fried Garlic. Be sure you have Food chopper to chop all those cloves of garlic, an electric wok, vegetable oil, and an outside outlet. You don't want to fry it indoor. The smell will permeate your furniture, clothing, hair, etc. Heat the oil on medium to low heat. Put in chopped garlic, stir until golden brown. Turn off the heat. Let it cool before store in a clean glass jar. Should last up to 3 months. If you keep longer than that, the oil could go rancid.

Def gonna visit that 2nd place as that style soup was much more up my alley. You should eat the noodle quickly while it's still hot, the taste is different when the soup is warm.

Thanks for these tips. There was a big dessert cart/fruit shake vendor on the walking street that is one block over from Khao San rd. Soi Rambutri? Find that cart, and see if one of the pick-and-choose meal places next to it is open. Would be a great video, and chance to see if activity is back.

Haha, I wasn't gonna name head tilt names. ;-) He is really good though. These are some great finds. The prawn kratiem grabbed me the most. Need that.

Mark is the O.G of youtube food, I'm not hating. The headtilt would have been a tribute
