Day 61 of asking Rogurt to play Cry of Fear Heads up, this is going to be a pretty long essay about Gensokyo Arena 2 & Prismatic, which most of you probably have 0 idea about. Today, I want to tell the tale of Prismatic, and how they were able to get Daiyousei, one of the least popular nor well-known Touhou character into Gensokyo arena 2, and how they inspired me to make this daily thing myself. Now to start with, who's Prismatic & Daiyousei and what's Gensokyo Arena 2? First off, Gensokyo Arena 2 (Abbreviated as GA2 from now) is a Roblox game similar to those anime battleground games, instead with characters from Touhou which includes Daiyousei. Prismatic however is simply one of its many players who was also in the old discord which was wiped to make way for a newer, more official one. So, how did Prismatic get Daiyousei into GA2? By repeatedly asking for it in the discord nearly daily. I will say it straight though, the previous server was far from welcoming and, for a lack of words that won't auto-delete this comment, was filled with people who prefered Cute and Funny things. Some people supported Prismatic, but most doubted or even directly opposed them. Despite that, Prismatic continued writing "Day xx of Daiyousei for GA2" daily, going as far as to adding cool little fun facts or essays about their own life. During some milestones, like Day 100 or Day 150, they even went out of their way to make their own moveset for Daiyousei. It absolutely astonished me just how far they were willing to go despite Daiyousei only ever appearing like 4 times in official Touhou works. It was on that fateful Day 365, that a new update dropped revealing that Daiyousei had finally been added to GA2. Unfortunately, the server was deleted soon after for an overhaul and with it, the messages. Today actually marks the 1st anniversary since Daiyousei was added on that Day 365, which is what prompted me to write this. May or may not write a follow-up about what else Prismatic has inspired me to do, including this. And to those that actually got to this point, thank you for reading.
