Absolutely fantastic A very good and very underrated song I remember when it came out in 1989 That was their 'comeback' after a long break The funny thing is that many people said they were too old then And now over THIRTY years later they are still on top I hope they come back to Europe soon I will be there for sure To all the people out there: You must see them live if you can It will change your life
@peterp21533 жыл бұрын
What’s funny is that despite it being seen as a big comeback album, the time between this album and Dirty Work was 3.5 years, compared with the time between Dirty Work and Undercover was 2.5 years. Of course, there were whatever personal and professional issues amongst the band (plus some smart promotional work) that made the ‘comeback’ feel relevant. When I was a kid and my folks, aunts, and uncles attended a couple shows on this tour, I thought the Stones were some retired old band that had disappeared for 10-15 years.
@kcash63593 жыл бұрын
@@peterp2153 What's even funnier is the time between Steels Wheels and Voodoo Lounge was five years, yet no one called it a comeback. The difference was the Stones didn't tour from 1982 - 1989. Seven years.

I saw the Stones 10 times during the course of my radio broadcasting career. The 1989 Steel Wheels tour remains in my memory as the most superior show I ever saw the Stones put on. Alexis Hoppers Stones liked Buffalo, NY played here 6 times. 1969, 1972, 1975, 1978, 1981, 2015. Yes that Buffalo called ( SNOW CAPITAL OF USA ) Its True Lake Erie dumps 10-12 feet every winter. We got that name from 1977 Blizzard. Crazy storm in snowed everyday in December & January, for a total of 16 feet. City & Schools closed for 3 weeks. People were really afraid of Buffalo. Lucky NIAGARA FALLS was close for Vistors. No wonder Buffalo Bills fans are crazy they tailgate 4 hours before the game. Drinking Beer at 9am. Our Bars are open till 4am, some people blame that on we have a Big IRISH Population. ALWAYS WHITE CHRISTMAS IN BUFFALO.

@@jimogrady1131Yes! I saw them at Rich Stadium in 81 for Tattoo You and then again in Syracuse in 89 for Steel Wheels. Jagger never liked Syracuse because the acoustics the Carrier Dome left a lot to be desired. The snow in those days was something else. The struggle was real.
