The lady's grandmother was Alice Todd for whom the town of Alice Springs in Central Australia is named. The nearby river is the Todd.

what a absolute genius, the ability to triangulate on a sound and hit the source with munitions fire must have made the other side very paranoid. classic brain over brawn.
