Is there any chance for an episode on Sulla himself?

A good chance, actually.

@@ThersitestheHistorian That would be fantastic. I'd be interested in your take on his feud with Gaius Marius and the larger context surrounding the Social War.

I think the only explanation is that he was born in 82 or later. He got so much special treatment and so many nice jobs and honours that I can’t believe that he would underachieve in terms of offices

@@olefredrikskjegstad5972 Actually Christian is better. I'm not a Christian myself but when the date is based around jesus' birth, it's silly not to call it Christian. AD and BC are a lot easier to tell apart then BCE and CE which is important when reading lots of text.

@@montengro234 Good points. Victor Davis Hanson may be the best known classicist alive today, and a recent article of his begins, "Sometime around A.D. 60, in the age of Emperor Nero, a Roman court insider named Gaius Petronius wrote a satirical Latin novel . . ." And yeah, I'm not much of a Christian either. I'm more of a Homerian.
