Kraven's Last Hunt made him one of the best villains in Spider-Man's rogues gallery. They really nailed the kind of maddening isolation suicidal thoughts cause, and it's a pity when it came out some people though it was "Glorifying it." It really wasn't. Kraven's victory is a tragedy. Yes, he did it, he beat the Spider, he BECAME the Spider and found some kind of peace...but I think he knew it wasn't going to last, which was why he felt he had to pull the trigger that night. Because it's common for suicidal people to plan out that last Perfect Day to end it on. But honestly, losing Kraven is a loss. He is a truly magnificent man. Twisted in many ways, but a level above the common kind of thug Spidey fights. In the end, he felt there was nowhere else to go. HIS Russia, was gone. And despite his love of the hunt, he is too "Civilised" to stay in the jungle forever. In the end, he himself was a fascinating beast of nature, that in his mind, was just out of time. A lion that couldn't stand living alone with housecats.

It's a horrible take to think any of Kraven's journey is glorifying. It's a tragic tale of a vicious man out of place with the world trying one last hurrah before taking himself out of it.

I am a young man, if you cant tell by my pfp, spider-man has been my life. I recently had been hospitalized and was on death's door. the themes in this arc were incredibly potent to me and relevant to how I feel about life these days. The anger peter feels, the love that drives him- I feel it. The construction of this motion comic is beyond remarkable, I've been a fan of this channel for a while, but after watching this video tonight, having been discharged from the hospital today, I love what you have done here more than ever. I can definitely see why people would consider this one of Spider-Man's greatest stories. Honestly, it sort of reminds me of Batman's story...from when Bane broke his back. This is honestly more dramatic. And Kraven is especially diabolical - as he tries to break Spider-Man's image, mentality, and what he and MJ started building together. I think that at this moment...Kraven became Spider-Man's greatest villain. But in the end...Spider-Man still lives on.
