I was fortunate enough to visit some incredible wildlife photography destinations in 2019, including South Africa's world famous Sabi Sands and Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Botswana's magical Mashatu Game Reserve and even the jungles of India's Ranthambhore National Park, where I searched for wild Bengal tigers.

Very nice that you narrate the story behind the photo! Love how those stories make the picture extra special. My favourite is the lion cub, not only because of the cuteness, but moreover because of mom being so relaxed in the background!

They are all amazing photos, however 10 and 8 would be my favorites as I was there with you, when you got them. Djuma and Ranthambore, two amazing places to photograph wild animals.

Very hard to choose just one! The rhino photo is definitely one - had a “that’s awesome!” reaction to that one. The elephants at sunset is another as it brings back memories of such a special sighting and with your guidance I have a photo just like it which is now framed in my home.

I love the Avoca lion looking into the tree because it makes him look soft and his eyes stand out nicely. I also noticed Tingana made an appearance at the beginning of your video, which is fantastic. Thanks, great watch.

Some great shots. My faves didn't actually make the top 10. My number one was the Sloth Bear. Generally a lot harder to see in India than Tigers in parks where they cohabit let alone that great a view head on! Little know fact. Sloth Bears are the most dangerous mammal in India with a greater percentage of maulings and deaths that all the other mammals combined. They are known to be highly unpredictable and often leave victims from non fatal maulings with horrifying wounds. In fact, there are more fatalities from Sloths Bears in India than from all the other bears species across the world combined. Sorry but I don't have a cute and cuddly story about Sloth Bears : ) My next fave was the Gemsbok, beautiful image with the light and dust but also excellent shooting. Not easy getting any animal let alone a wild animal at speed and in focus that is coming head on. Out of Villiers selection my fave is the Painted Wolf puppies : )
