Yipeee!!! I found S147!!! We saw a sighting posted on the S147 on Latest sighting and we could not find it anywhere on our maps. We thought it must have been a mistake. Even in the Kruger self drive book only goes to the S146. Thanks for the Info. Great videos as always.

❤ I love your videos enjoying them. Thank you very much we’re going to Africa for 10 days and four nights in Zambia and we’re gonna be reaching 20 of August and the evening flight and Cu international Park at the airport. MQP I was wondering if you could suggest me which rest campus stay I love watching big and I was thinking is stay at skukuzasecond Sitara rest camp and I was wondering if you know if we can Self Drive Rent-A-Car at the airport and we’ve done that before if it’s possible to do in Kruger national park and what route would you suggest to go on to see all the big fat really appreciate your help. Thank you for all the good work.

If you have only three days, stay at Berg en Dal, Skukuza and Lower Sabie. Just make sure you book long in advance.

Hello, Villiers! Awesome pictures you’ve got! Your videos are helping me out planning my first safaris, next month. I’m too a photographer, mostly in the brazilian Amazon. I wanted to ask you some tips about camps. I’m going to South Africa with my wife, we’re planning 4 days on aha Makalali lodge and 4 days on Isambane camp. As you said Oilfont and Balule have thick vegetation, do you think these are good lodges for us to photograph? Would you recommend any other, with good guides and fauna? Thank you very much!

Thanks for the awesome video. I ordered the three books combo. Are you going to make a Pilanesberg video? Thanks

Awesome, Felix! I don’t have plans just yet, but since there is a Pilanesberg Self-Drive book, perhaps I should make one... 😏

Covid permitting,we are staying at the Protea by Marriott,kruger gate,from 12th-17th april Are the game drives along the Sabie river good for seeing the Big 5?
@TheSafariExpert3 жыл бұрын
Gary, the Sabi River is great for Big Five viewing, except perhaps for spotting rhino, which you'll find further south towards Berg-en-Dal. The roads will, however, be very busy in April.

@@garyshuttleworth2359 , sorry it took so long 🙈 The drive from the airport to the hotel is not that long, but it is in a great game viewing area along the Sand River. Here’s hoping you have a great welcoming party 🦁🐘🐃🦏🦒🐆🦓☺️

Joo, I have been a few times to Africa now and I’m aiming to see animals like: bush pig, pangolin, aardvark, bat-eared fox, clawless otter, polecat genet, civet, aardwolf and snakes. Do you recommend camps or other parks? Like the kalahari or kaufau?
@TheSafariExpert3 жыл бұрын
Jorrit, you'll struggle to see most of those in Kruger. The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park gives you a good chance to see things like African Wild Cat, brown hyena, meerkats and bat-eared foxes, but some of those on your list are VERY hard to find.

I love your videos! Very informative 👌🏼 Taking our first safari ever in august this year! What’s your 3 best rest camps for that time of the year? Planning to spend 3 nights at 3 camps 🙌🏼😃
@saskiaguy19403 жыл бұрын
I bought the book you recommended in this video, by the way! Still waiting for it to arrive! Should I wait to get it before I go ahead and book the rest camps? We thought we’d do Crocodile Bridge first, then Olifants second, and Pretoriuskop last. What do you think for first-timers?
@TheSafariExpert3 жыл бұрын
I’m so glad you love the videos! 😁 If you can get space, go for Lower Sabie, Berg-en-Dal and Satara - that will give you a very nice variety. Pretoriuskop is a bit quiet game viewing-wise and Lower Sabie and Croc Bridge are rather similar. Don’t wait for the book to arrive - rather secure your accommodation before the camps fill up 👍🏻😎

@@saskiaguy1940, it’s so hard to tell. August is usually very busy, so rather be safe than sorry. The popular camps like Lower Sabie fill up VERY quickly that time of the year.
