I am 65, Australian, and was one of three boys. The energy and enthusiasm and health I see in your boys reminds me so much of my family when young. It is so wholesome. Great to see you all eating healthy, staying active, and doing stuff other than computers! God Bless you in your travels and endeavors, and may you in turn be a blessing to others. I have grand kids 3000 miles away. It is good to see your kids playing with lorikeets like my grandson in Jacksonville Zoo. I have a friend from Canada who depended on their social medicine to remove a tumor from her tongue. They accidently stopped the blood flow. Liberty's tongue turned black, and she went into a coma. They wanted to remove her tongue her dad Joshua Mills Gold prayed and 23 days later she came out of the hospital with a new tongue. Miracle from Heaven! If she needed a new tongue we have medbeds now. Look up my friend Joshua Mills Gold and medbeds in Florida.

This is fast becoming my fav sailing channel on KZbin! I always feel uplifted and happy after watching, both in myself and for you. I think it's the positive energy given off, even as you share disappointments and frustrations and the sadness of leaving friends behind each time you move on. But if you didn't move on, you wouldn't have met all those amazing people! Btw... my profile pic is me checking the twist in my cat's main on a speedy beam reach heading north, west of the Isle of Mull between Iona and Tobermory, Scotland. Every blessing! David Hendrie

Hey! We’re trying our best over here! 😂 In all fairness, we were busy transferring crew about five minutes before the start and we didn’t have any local knowledge, so we feel pretty good about how it went! You dont hold the jib until it just starts back winding in a tack ? Beer can racing - Great day on the water .

We do sometimes, but in heavy winds we have enough speed and momentum to get the bow around without doing so. And it slows down the tack if we do as trimming takes longer. ~Seth

I'm curious: does the bimini over your helm station require any changes to the boom/sail, or is that all standard? I've seen some mention of the boom being lifted and the sail recut to provide sufficient clearance over the bimini.

Yeah, it’s pretty handy. You can’t use an auto pilot when racing, but when tacking up the harbor for fun it helps to free up hands. And it even remembers that your last tack was to port, so the next one is set to Starboard. ~S
