My husband had the same hair dresser his whole life (he is 34) and then he retired this year. After having a couple of bad hair cuts from someone new, my husband insisted that I learn how to cut his hair. I was so worried and nervous but he found this video for me and said its the same way his guy had been cutting his hair for years. I watched your video a few times and gave my husband a hair cut today. Its the first time I've ever put scissors to hair and it turned out great! I will be cutting his hair from now on... thank you!!

You have made my evening! I have been praying for the "low taper" to fall out of style with the teens (especially since none of them want to use product and they all show the same picture of a 25 year old latino male model with amazing hair....no matter what texture, color or thickness their hair is). Every time a 12 year old with stick straight hair walks in I wanna scream. Super excited for this!

(Slide cutting) If you're intimidated by this, it can be easily done w/ more accuracy using a pair of "thinning" or "texturizing" shears. Mom was a beautician and I was a cosmetologist (Yes, same thing, different eras) those scissors were always around. I used them to give lift to my own super fine, Stick straight hair to give body and to take out bulk on my friends with thick hair.

Could it possibly be an influence taken from the curly/messy look of Timothee Chalamet's longer/curly/wavy hairstyle in life, and his look in the Dune 1&2 movies? I recall after the Lord of the Rings movies came out, a LOT of guys had that curly/messy Hobbit hairstyle... so it could be since Li'l Timmy Tim has had this kinda style for awhile now, guys are emulating his look...
