Thought he looked fine before but then at the end I was amazed at the difference, awesome work. I've been growing my hair to style it like this but every time I go for a "minimal trim" they'll take a fist full of hair and cut 2+ inches off, it's like they never listened to a word I said when they asked what I wanted so I'm done getting a trim until it's where I want it. Doesn't matter where I go or how many times I tell them before/after, they set me back months every time... I live in South Jersey, it'd totally be worth the hour drive to get a cut from this man when the time comes. Subscribed

Hi Steve! Thank you for all of the outstanding videos. Every time I grow my hair out (sometimes for most of the year) I go to my hair stylist and tell him that I am growing my hair out and to please just give me a trim and to leave my hair long. Every time I get a "trim" I leave the salon I looking like I am entering boot camp. It is very difficult to find a hair dresser who doesn't cut off way too much hair or who knows how to cut hair evenly. Steven, please tell me where your salon is located so that I can finally get an amazing hair cut.

@pinkbrando5 жыл бұрын
Growing out is always only part of the battle. You always need to shape it after you get the base length, and chances are your hair will grow uneven too. There's no scientific way to make hair grow faster, but the best way to not hinder growth is a crap ton of protein, and a biotin supplement. Also, dont put gunk on your scalp. That includes coconut oil. Use a scalp clearing shampoo like once every other week, you'll notice a difference. Hope this helped!

Cool video. I've been letting my hair grow out for the past 14 months (had been shaving it before that for a few years). The only problem I have with letting my hair grow out is that after washing it, it'll be straight, but as it dries, it gets wavy/curly. I've been brushing it straight after drying with a towel and putting a bandana on to hold it flat as it dries, but that only works if I'm around the house for a while as it finishes drying, and even then, the ends get wavy/curly. Any suggestions on straightening my hair?

Got lucky with genes for healthy hair in my family, I guess. My hair is VERY thick, and there's a LOT of it. It's always been a nightmare to style. The hair grows very quick, so if I do a short style, I need to go back for up-keep every 2 weeks (which gets expensive in the long run.) If I want a medium length... Well, to be frank I don't really know what to do with it. It's so heavy, and therefore difficult to keep in place. Long hair was alright; I could just put it in a bun. However, keeping it smooth, frizz-free, and controlled was a project all on its own.

Kahiau Akuma If you would ask me, I would say every longer hairstyle that shapes your face is perfect. If you have very voluminous hair a swept back hairstyle would be perfect and if it’s not very voluminous you should do a side part. The question still is, do you know that longer hair shapes you? Because if it doesn’t you can make it look like however you want, you would never be able to make it look very attractive. The best thing to do is try it out to find your length.
