It's sad that these people who ask the government for help have no idea they're asking people who are already in the cartels pockets.

Actually, the Mexican Government IS Organized Crime. It has always been and it's in the interest of The West that it be so. Nobody governs alone, and Mexico has the support of rich countries in keeping the status quo. I'm not saying ALL blame lies on the outside, but it is supported by rich countries; that I can assure you.

They know. They also know they have to be mindful of what they say about the corrupted ones too. Just like the man looking for his brother said, they often talk with the very criminals to try to get information about where they might find their missing loved ones. They know and are doing whatever it takes to try to find their loved ones. 💔

The sad thing is that almost every single one of these missing sons and daughters have been murdered, sometimes brutally. In Mexico, when more than 75% of all homicides aren't even investigated. The murderers take the mindset that if they don't find the body, the killing never happened.

This is beautiful thank you for offering. My step dad got deported about 12 years ago, he attempted to come back to the US and ended up getting kidnapped by the coyotes, they asked for random and harassed me and would call me. I then sent them 5k because regardless if he was in the US or in TJ he was with them and they were torturing him. I sent the money through money gram service to different names 4 different transactions. Once the last transaction was made I provided the confirmation number they then hung up and I was never able to contact them. All we could do was wait. The following day the San Diego border patrol called and said they found him naked and his nails and fingers were messed with as if they were torturing him but he was alive..My step dad then talk to us and told us after the last transaction, they started debating on who was going to kill him while they were holding a gun he asked them not to kill him but they stated they had to because if it wasn’t them ppl from where they were from would, they already knew how he looked like. And as soon as he heard that he took a run for it without looking back, he then threw himself off a mountain when he rolled down he came across the border patrol who helped him but sadly had to release him back to Mexico.. we then moved him over to Mexicali he was staying at one is his sisters friends house we spoke with him the day before new year and he said he seemed more positive he has a son which is my little brother who I have now raised like my son. He loved him so much and he was a great dad I know he would’ve never left him. We haven’t heard from him since . The lady that rented a room out to him said all His belongings remained in the room and they hadn’t seen him. We called the consulado and everyone stated last time seen was new year. We spent years looking for him I never changed my number, his mom ended up getting sick and diagnosed with cancer, she has now passed away without knowing where her son is. Many times they asked us to go down to the borders and identify bodies but we were always in denial. I am Mexican, and to know that my own ppl do this to our ppl is embarrassing and heartbreaking.

This is so heartbreaking. Some areas in Mexico are very dangerous. This reminds me of the UT Austin college students that crossed the border during Spring Break and they found their bodies on a ranch in Matamoras killed in a blood sacrifice ever since then, I don't go to Mexico. A friend of mine from Reynosa, her brother was kidnapped, they were contacted by the kidnappers asking for ransom money, they couldn't pay, they never heard from him again- that was almost 10 years ago. It's very heartbreaking and sad and it makes you mad at how corrupt the government is.

Psalm 91 and Ephesians 6:10-18 is good to learn. Unfortunately my 2nd son was not open to walk with the Lord so as to receive his divine protection, and lost his life. The underlying cause of these "desparecidos" is the widespread drug usage. Ten years ago, I thought, since most of the demand for illegal drugs came from the US, it would behoove the US government to legalize all drugs, standardize dosages, and make them available over the counter at all pharmacies. The profit motive that drives the drug cartels in Mexico would disappear and crime would be substantially reduced. But now, Mexico has its own homegrown drug addicts which is doubly detrimental to their society, both from a crime standpoint and the social effects of drug addiction. It is very sad.
@belladonna5904

You're right. A lot of crime, addiction and suffering could be alleviated with legalization. Many addicts would be functional if drugs weren't illegal. Also less stigmatized so they could get help.

I also feel bad for those families who were hard-working and then had a child or something like this get drawn into the cartel life because of the allure that it has and that combined with the need for money and not having great financial opportunities throughout greater Mexico a lot of these people were pushed into it in a way I'm not excusing their choices by any means it's just an all-around sad situation but it starts with the correction on top

@@jasleneanderson5354 how can you compare when people in Mexico can't even file a missing person's report? Because the government themselves threatens them and their family if they do? Of course there are missing people in the U.S like there are anywhere, but at least you're allowed to hope and you're allowed to be heard. At least you're not in fear for your own life just for looking and asking.

Without an outside intervention, the blood bath in Mexico unfortunately will deteriorate to a point that will lead to a civil war. Sadly, the Mexican gov’t will never ask for the international help because they all, all, top to bottom have blood on their hands one way or the other, which can incriminate them.
