There is more than enough BTS content, Songs, Live, Dance practices, variety shows Run BTS, and much more, that can keep you real busy white we wait for all of them to return!

The vast majority of ARMYs are very positive and welcoming, but, unfortunately, a lot of ARMYs don't play nice with other fandoms. There's nothing wrong with the other idols, but there is a history of other fandoms actually working together to try to bring BTS and ARMY down. As in, they filed complaints against the company behind a major award show because they felt that BTS shouldn't have won a particular award. They actually went so far as to petition the South Korean version of the White House, the Blue House, to request that an award company be shut down because they named BTS as the winner of an award that they felt another group should have one. I agree that toxicity is not a good thing, but the vast majority of it is in response to shade thrown at BTS and ARMYs by others. Granted, that was years ago, but BTS still faces difficulties. Jimin, for example, made #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 on April 3rd this year with his song, Like Crazy. Before the chart was released for the next week, Billboard had changed a rule that essentially affected only Jimin and removed literally 90% of his sales numbers. And, with no points at all for radio plays, the sales were what got him to #1. Even with 90% removed, he still scored high enough with sales alone to make #45 for the 2nd week. ARMY is protective because BTS is frequently targeted. Yes, there are a few out there who claim to be ARMY but they don't really act like it when they're getting toxic. Most of us just refuse to put up with the crap that other people often throw at BTS and ARMY. Yes, we can be overprotective, but it's mainly because the past has taught us to be. Still, I'm sorry that you've experienced that. I just wanted to point out that it's not without cause.

I do not consider that kind of behavior an army at all. Any "so-called army" doing this toxic stuff would not make the guys happy! They promote loving yourself, loving others and being kind to each other. I understand being protective, I am, they just should not cross the line. ... ever.

@@carolcrooks7018 I'm not talking about people who are starting crap. I'm talking about the ones who post a comment and then someone else says something in a reply to that comment. To me, responding in a less than nice manner when you've been personally attacked is not being toxic. People who post original comments that are mean and insulting, those are the ones that I consider toxic. I also think that the standards to which you hold yourself are commendable, but also unrealistic. Most people are not able to hold themselves to such high standards and I'm not going to deny them as ARMY just because they are human and flawed. I have a problem with people starting toxic attacks and those are the ones that I don't consider to be ARMY. Just my own opinion, though. You are, of course, entitled to think differently.

I guess you don't know that BTS are doing a pause because they have to do they're military services. However, the members that didn't leave yet are still dropping solo projects. If you want to know they're going to be back as a complete group in 2025 because all of them would have done their military service . I really like your reactions thank, please do more BTS 'cause they have so much content Ps : excuse my English I know it's not perfect I'm French

When it comes to over over protective and obsession as you mentioned it's mainly the baby armies who just got into the fandom ,and they are learning so it takes a bit time to understand everything .At the same time you are right that we are over protective because apart from being the biggest kpop group and fandom we have and are going through and had to go through the process of acceptance from the society. The hatred and ignorance we had to face is another thing. I wish you could check the hardship of bts for better understanding the reason which made armies to be this extreme protective 😊thanks for reacting 💜

not that I'm trying to excuse it at all, but I think some bts fans are so protective of the members because they went through so much and were treated so awfully, not only by other kpop fans but by news, media, show presenters and the western general public (and somehow still are even with their fame) that they take any observation of the group as criticism. It can definitely be toxic and it would be nice if they could relax but I do think most of it comes from just wanting people to respect the boys as much as they deserve to be. Plus, such a big fan base brings a higher number of toxic fans unfortunately, but pls don't let the minority put you off such an amazing group ❤

If you truly want to understand how they generated so much love, The Rise Of Bangtan documentary series (created very professionally by an ARMY) will give you way more insights. It has 21 episodes (plus bonus content and deleted scenes). I would actually like to challenge your notion of the prevalence of the toxicity. I think it’s a small, vocal minority who are toxic. They seem more prevalent because they comment on almost everything. But when you accept that BTS have about 75 million admirers, it really is a small percentage 💜

Why are we protective? well.. xCeleste has a hardship video with some highlights - personally I think some of the stuff that is "around" the clips she uses is actually worse. She updated it once. boracity magazine is intense and on occasion a little mean but she is also very good at highlighting the BS the industry pulls. Maybe watch her vid about why many Army are not Kpop fans. The numbers are certainly interesting. bby gang mag is more neutral and I love him for that. But he is also good at analysis: BTS vs. K-pop, you are wrong about K-pop, BTS: More than K-pop Our biggest intro is Taylor Mari these days with her Bangtan 7 vid If you want more context: The Rise of Bangtan (the bonus is funny) Fun Fact: It seems that Twice is actually bigger than BP in the US since at least last year. Yeah, that surprised me, too: They had the better album sales last year, had the higher Spotify numbers and this year they became the first K-pop girlgroup to have pure 1 million album sale in the US + they sold out two stadiums (I think for more than 1 day but IDK) while BP still struggles according to the photos I have seen - that is BTW the first time someone other than BTS has booked real stadiums in the US/outside Asia. You also seem to forget how big the fandom is: On IG and their youtube channel they have 70 million subscribers each and guesses up to over 200 million fans gloabally: different ages, religions, gender, creed etc. Someone said about fandom once that a certain percentage of "fandom" is alway toxic. Let's say that is only 0,1%. In Army's case that would make maybe 70 000 people: young, insecure, new, vibers, trolls, people that are paid, fake fans, solos, shippers etc. and more are included in that list. (that btw is also true for - say - countries) Yeah, there are people paied to destroy someones reputation. Unfortunately that is a "valid" marketing tactic. There is also the very much real saying that everybody is toxic - you just have to realize were you fail and minimize it but you will never get rid of it enterily. Context btw helps. Jimin and JK have quiet many tattoos - but all seven members have a 7 tattooed since last year. You think 8 are many?!? They have ca. 350 songs now. That includs also unit songs, solo stuff, free songs, collabs, features, producing with other artists, OST, mixtapes and solo albums. Biggest reason they are so big? Personalities, authenticity, their song writing, different genres and LYRICS - their GENIUS LYRICS. (we do need "translating" them - doolsetbangtan is good, but there are also explained vids - for example Go Go is funny till you see the 2 vids where Koreans explain the lyrics. That and Big Hit/HYBE were alway innovative in promotions. They needed to be. They are literary the biggest group in the world - a recent brand ranking of - I think it was some kind of postive legacy had BTS on it as the only artist: The Legacy Lab Releases the Inaugural Legacy Makers 100 - it is an interesting article about "A New Measure of Brand Value Based on Long-Term Contributions to People and Society, not Short-Term Market Value" It is really, really complicated (and I'm also not always a fan of what some people "trend"). You nice! Keep going! 💜

There is such a massive difference between overprotective and being toxic tho we are overprotective of them because they always get hate and racism an xenophobia as well we protect them from that but we also help them as well we do a whole bunch a good tho. As long as reactors at least respect these guys and give them a try and if they arent interested in them then its okay butnif they throw hate we tell them nicely not to do that.

They're going to the military one by one (2 already left- jin, jhope) but until they're all in the military, the members that are not there are making solo songs, albums, content+ communicating with fans etc. The plan is for them to ALL return by 2025 and start doing group activity with all 7 members again. Also they have a new song called "Take Two" that came out this week. I love blackpink too and i'm pretty sure they're just focusing on individual activities. thanks for the video

The overprotective, controlling and toxic fans, I don't consider them army at all! Most army are incredible! The guys would never approve of their hate tactics, including those against other fathoms. Even the treatment of some reactors would make them very disappointed. RM and JK recently called army out, saying army has changed...not in a good way. RM has not been live with us since that comment. I pray that all of the negativity don't cause the end of them. I couldn't tolerate, at all...the crap they deal with with toxic and dangerous people ( they call themselves army...they are NOT! ) So for you, ignore them if you can. They can go to another reactor that will tolerate their manipulation games.

5:30 If you compare BTS' discography to BP's (no shade, just reality that BP doesn't release much music), you'll see that BTS actually has released like over three hundred songs in their ten year career. You may see a slowdown now in BTS music because they're are all slowly going into their mandatory military service. But J-Hope, RM, Suga/Agust D, and Jimin have released albums. Jin released a few things before going into the military last december. Jungkook released some songs too. Tae released some stuff too but he was also doing a tv show. Edit: Ah just remembered that Boracity just released a video that delves into BTS' long choreography. It's actually a good video to look up if you're curious about their Chapter One discography. There's even predebut things and songs that even hardcore armys may have missed.

I've loved a lot of music over the years, a big MJ and Prince fan here, among many many other artists. What I find is really different is the extremely meaningful lyrics of the songs addressing all sorts of challenges that humans face. And their authenticity in their very early vlogs and the variety show Run BTS their company created to showcase their personalities. (It can get confusing because they have a song called Run BTS (2022) and they have a song called Run as well from the early days. Seeing many sides to the members is what made me fall in love with them in a way I've never experienced before. (And a lot of that is the advent of social media for many more forms of communication between artists and fans.) Anyways...enjoy the BTS journey!

Nothing towards the creator here..i'm enjoying your reactions to BTS..much love & support 💜 but I'm seeing comments here like "BTS and BP are very similar" or "BTS & Blackpink are kings & queens of k-pop" or "BTS & BP are on same level" sorry to break it to ppl but they are no where on the same level or similar other than their popularity..also in terms of popularity BP is most popular k-pop "Girl group" and BTS are biggest act to ever come out of South korea.. there's a huge difference..as a person who has been into k-pop for more that 7-8 yrs now.. sometimes these comparisons between these two, completly opposite groups..in terms of music & everything annoys me tbh..new fans don't understand comparing BTS's music to BP's is not so fair to Bangtan's artistry..at all..now let me make it clear here.. *this is gonna be long* 🚶‍♀️ Now to be very very clear here, 99% of BP songs are like, bops but with not so deep lyrics..like pop songs?! and BTS hv just few fun, not so deep pop songs which can be counted on fingers..they hv 300+ songs in storied career, and there are only 3-4 "not so deep" songs.. that's the difference between BTS and BP... other than their 3 English pop songs made to cheer up ARMYs during pandemic (which they didn't even write) their discography is full of meaning songs which talk about real problem in this world..now don't get me started...there's a reason BTS are the biggest group, not just in k-pop but the biggest group to ever come out of South korea, they are compared to legends like the Beatles and Michael Jackson..it's not just about hard work cuz every k-pop grup work hard as hell (and i respect every other k-pop group out their for their hard work, as a trainee and choosing to be this difficult path of becoming idol tbh).. but when it comes to BTS, it's about "music they make with the msg they put out with their music"..deep, layered lyrics about socio-economic topics not just about love & break-ups.. -BTS does EVERYTHING from neo-soul to rap, so there's always something to match your taste & mood...they hv wildest discography & most diverse in k-pop industry as well.. & that's the magnet for fans of all ages..& as you might know very well that Armys are most diverse fandom in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, background, s-e-x-u-a-l-i-t-y..ARMY isn't exactly your typical k-pop Fandom..We're from all over the world with ages from 2 to 99, all genders, faiths and ethnicities. Like the guys themselves we as a whole are very involved in philanthropic projects around the world. *Their lyrics are often about serious subjects like socio-economic issues, mental health problems, self-scrutiny and self-love. -They incorporate concepts from greek They mythology, Carl Jung, Nietzche, the Bible, Bruegel. Michelangelo and much more.* (Except their english songs which are "just" bops meant to cheer up ARMY during the pandemic as i said earlier..so how can ppl even think about comparing their meaningful music to BP's bubble gum pop songs with "concept" of love, break-up and flexing as all other pop artists out there (it's the hard pill to swallow) tho i agree that bp do hv some amazing songs with good lyrics in their b-sides but those are just few🚶‍♀️so when ppl compare these two groups, specially in terms of music..i'm like c'mon give some respect to BTS's music... I'm casual k-pop listener, i listen to many k-pop grups, i'm casual Lister to many bgs & few ggs in k-pop..(eg: TXT, seventeen, ATEEZ, got7, SKZ, Enhypen, P1HARMONY, Mamamoo, twice, new jeans etc etc along with solo artists.. but stan only BTS (I'm very picky in that sense & picular when it comes to music & life is more than just cars, women, money, materialistic things, love & break-up for me), because lyrics & topics about songs are what that connects me to artist (ofc personality, hardwork, dedication towards their art, talent & humbleness also counts) also i wanna talk about how intricate and layered bts' music is...you read the lyrics once and find meaning, visit it later and you'll discover something new...that form of timelessness and authenticity is something a lot of artists and writers struggle with & it's my fav thing..as i already said I'm casual k-pop listener..sure there are many k-pop groups which hv bop music, but also shallow lyrics, high production MVs but songs got them handed...IK there are other groups who write & produce their own music and are involved in making of their music like BTS does,(as i mentioned some groups above) but the % of such groups in k-pop is very low, tho it's changing now with new groups(which is great).. but most K-pop groups are manufactured.. On frontpage *BTS looks like just another k-pop group with catchy tunes and crazy good choreography and performances.. When in reality BTS singles are like Troian horses. And behind those colorful, usually fairly simple songs that wanna make you move and dance and smile lays BTS discography full of encouragement, hope, empathy, call to revolt, social criticism..Songs that make you wanna make a change, songs that makes you cry your eyes out, songs that make you feel understood. And that is real reason why BTS have ARMY behind them, & BTS are as big & successful as they are now!* *Importantly,* -one thing I love about BTS is that their music always represents their own thoughts and feelings at that point in their life. It's so interesting to see their world views and emotions change over the years along with their music style and topics they cover in their lyrics..and don't get me started on their personalities & them as people! BTS has genius lyrics, they are super intelligent and that's why there are so many explained videos to get context because their lyrics are layered like s*** also that's why they have such a diverse fanbase in age... *BTS's popularity basically is the definition of a grassroots movement, solely made by fans who discovered them by themselves, finding them on youtube randomly and spreading them by word of mouth, not by any type of company push or promotion since bts' company didn't have the funds for that type of thing back in the day, they are one of the very, very rare musicians, today that rose to fame completely on their own by their talent getting spotted by fans* also there are many reasons why BTS were invited to give speech at UN 3 times.. it's the topics they tackle through their music..if ppl bother enough to deep dive into their lyrics & what their music stands for you'll understand that comparing their level of artistry to BP's is like an i-n-s-u-l-t to BTS's music fr...they are *philanthropic, inspirational Artists* & their music stands for it too! It's easy for these new k-pop fans or baby stans of BP & BTS to say that BP are as talented as BTS when that not the case objectively speaking..it's 8 yrs of hardwork, 8 yrs of consistency in the quality of their music & their performances (which i can't say same for BP, like y'all know very well how much consistency BP hv when it comes to their live performances & their dedication towards their art.. specially in recent yrs), it's their dedication towards their art & unconditional love towards their fans, & last but not the least their authentic, real, relatable "MUSIC itself!!* So ppl should think twice before even letting the thought of "BTS & BP are both *equally* talented" in terms of artistry, don't let that even cross your mind.. that's not the reality 🤷🏻‍♀️ i might sound like.. maybe o-f-f-e-n-s-i-v-e to BP fans/blinks but ik.. there's not a single lie here..like think objectively.. y'all won't understand my frustration of these "both are similar" thing unless you hv been into Fandom and see majority of k-pop Fandoms show their m-i-c-r-o-a-g-g-r-e-s-s-i-o-n towards anything related to BTS or ARMY 24/7 & then when we clapback they play "ARMY t-o-x-i-c" card and put a tag.. acting as if all k-pop fandoms doesn't hv their fair share/similar % of t-o-x-i-c fans..this is probably only 10% of the Fandom..and ARMYs are 80+ million around the world..

You spoke FACTS!! 👏 New reactors. Specially the ones who react to every kpop group in existence think that way like " oh BTS and blackpink, they are the biggest blah blah blah " when blackpink is nowhere close. The media play bp using is insane. BTS is one of the biggest artist in the world. They are compared to legends. Blackpink is presented like they are close to them in any way thanks to media play. BTS as a group and as soloists are bigger than whole kpop combined. These kpop reactors won't talk about these things even if they see it because they need the engagement of every kpop fandom. They act like they love everything and everyone. Btw there's nothing wrong with love songs. Love is something everyone go through. It's natural experience in life. BTS written about it before and will write in the future about it. It's natural and expected they write about it. It's how they write music that's different from other kpop groups specially and also lots of other artists in general. Not just love songs. Even a light hearted fun song with BTS lyrics are still written really well. They do the job it's supposed to do. While in kpop groups the those song lyrics are like bunch of words put together and it doesn't make sense at all like it's cringy. Specially bp lyrics are total nonsense. No offense to anyone who vibe with it but i can't vibe with it. It doesn't make any sense and it's lame. With BTS even light hearted songs are well written. Also some kpop groups try to involve in make music more now. Good for them. Fans like to brag about them producing their own music and say they need to be on the top, they need this that, they are in the same level as certain people, they deserve so much just based on the fact that they make their own music etc. But just because they produce their own music doesn't mean the music is good. I've listened to few groups like that but i don't like the music at all and the lyrics are not good. It's the same as every other typical kpop song. Good for them for making their own stuff but that doesn't make it good. Just something i noticed. Music comes first. I'm not gonna like it just because they made it themselves. Just what i thought.

BTS is one of one of the many only groups that has hit 10 years. Their discography is crazy... hundreds and hundreds of songs. Mostly songs as a group but do not forget all the features they have been in, collabs with so many other Korean and even American artists, sound tracks to Korean OST Dramas and even American movies, commercials, covers... since the beginning of my BTS journey, I almost feel as they put out 2 albums a year and songs out every other month. It's crazy as I feel Army is spoiled with so much content from the boys... most time it's funny as they will do a last minute surprise releases... That being said, Black Pink does not have that many songs/albums out but what they have out are always bangers so I can see why so many people stan them. These 2 are the top boy and girl Korean groups right now. There are many out there that others may like more and some that may disagree but obviously these 2 groups stands out to me the most... and its proof as you can see the influence that they have made in the music industry...

I think armys have the right to be overprotective( not toxic ofc but some staffs what happening every single day and what armys going againts can turn any person to become some kind of toxic toward toxic comments and some fandoms actions toward btx ) belive me if u knew what bts and armys dealing in daily bases u wouldn't questioning about that and literally justify ive seen many reactors telling arjys that they are on their right to overprotect bts ! Try bts hardships 2013-2021 by xcelest although its not updated but it will show u how bts and armys were literally fighting since day 1 to be respected and recognized in the way they deserve . Also bts discography is more than 400 + songs while bp around 40 so no offence but they arent even close to be similar without mentioning that bts are writers , producers , composers , lyricist and performers while bp are just performers!

I can tell you a lot about kpop groups VS how BTS are very different and their own thing. But i guess it could be useless and you won't try to understand because you're a multi kpop fan. And you watch every kpop group and engage with their fanbases and want their engagement. Idk about you but multis who claim to like BTS don't take BTS side when a fan wars like stuff happens and BTS are insulted or things like that. Other kpop fandom or groups have a history of being nasty towards BTS. You won't get how bad it's been to BTS and ARMY over the years. Kpop world caused so much hate. It's still happening. ARMY BTS faced this from the beginning and still now. Other people won't understand that. Specially people who are fans of other kpop groups. Blackpink name get mentioned alongside BTS a lot of the times. It has a lot to do with media play. BTS is one of the big artists in the world. BTS are bigger than whole kpop combined. You won't see it because media sometimes doesn't show it. Bp are nowhere close to BTS. Also blackpink are popular but they don't have the respect BTS have specially as artists. blackpink are not artists to begin with. It's really dumb to even mention these two groups together because they are extremely different. The amount of things BTS has done in so many areas, blackpink is nothing infront of that. You should do more research and you'll see.

You gotta stop scolding ARMY. Like bro, you're a blink. Clean your own house first. I have never seen a crueler more horrifyingly dangerous fandom. Like unless you're making it a point to scold the fans of every artist you're reacting to, you're really just trying to single us out based on your own fandoms' perceptions of us, disregarding the fact that we have never given back the kind of rage or cruelty some of your fandoms have thrown at us.

The overprotective thing. You don't understand what ARMY goes through every day. What they've been going through over the years. Still do. If you know it you'll understand where it's coming from. I'm sorry but you don't even know BTS names and you can't tell ARMY about being overprotective and stuff. You are new and know nothing about our world. Being toxic is something else. Every fandom has toxic people. You really need to see some history on this. We have reasons to do things. You're basically an outsider in this case. It's funny seeing you say that. We don't throw hate to everyone. ARMY is like the best fandom. But we are presented in a bad way. Blackpink fandom for example are worse.
