I really like your videos. They are very detailed and give potential expats a price range to work with. Keep up the good work.

Just word of warning for those unfamiliar but the large windows for #7 'Uptown Parksuites' will absolutely kill you heat wise! I'm in the Southern US and have been around windows like that before even not directly in the path of the sun they turn the room into an oven! Due to the shape of the frame being deep you can block light with blinds but it's harder to prevent heat from being trapped if you try to block them. Otherwise I think these are all really great for the price! Even in small towns here in the US renting a 1 bedroom apartment let alone a condo would set you back at minimum 1,200$ almost everywhere. I did want to ask are gas stoves a thing in some of these condos? I am in a love/hate with the idea as I love cooking with a gas top stove over electric. Yet hate the idea of being in a building that could be a gas leak waiting to happen especially with any level of earthquakes.

Wow Tuli, you sure know your stuff. Great presentation. I like the idea of a loft. I would like to add a loft to my studio in Malate. Both my sofas fold down into beds. My unit in Malate is 23 square meters. What would my unit rent for, (without the loft of course)?

Hi Evan, new subscriber. Enjoying you presentation style. With respect to you videos on renting and buying condos; why are there no costing numbers for aircon, electricity, garbage, parking, hydro included in you videos?

Great job as always Evan 👍 But I have a question for you. I notice the washing machine, but no dryer. How does one dry the clothes?
@TheSavvyExpat2 жыл бұрын
In the Philippines, most people use washing machines to wash their clothes and then air dry them with close pins

Any idea on the seismic rating of these modern buildings in BGC? Or do the developers do a 'turkey' and pay off the local barangay's to skirt around the rules to which i would not be surprised. I've only seen one place in Angeles that has Steel I-Bars to reinforce the structure (La Grande Residences)

Thanks Evan! Since my office assigment to Manila, and our office in BGC, yet my budget for apart/condo is 30.000, do you think i better to have it on Makati which have lower price (as your previous), or BGC? Yet i need to paid extra from my own pocket? Thanks bro, you help me alot with your youtube

Thanks for all the showing. Wow none are for my liking. Best to get double the amount of space and live versus having the urge and forcing yourself to get out of the condo unit as soon as possible. Only come home to sleep I guess it all depends what life you are having. All these units would be a stepping stone for a better place, environment, a true feel you are in the Philippines. That bubble environment is only for continued money earners but not retirees. This eliminates food shopping in the area too.

Not all foreigners have that kind of budget, how about showing us something that is more affordable. I would be more interested in places like tondo or where locals live in Manila.

A lot of these condos offer a lot more than what you showed! For example, some have great gyms, amazing pools or even access to indoor courts, or are just short walks from popular areas! #1 even have a spa at their entrance! #2 has an insane pool! #10 is just a few steps away from a night time social life!
@TheSavvyExpat3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for mentioning that! I'll be sure to look more into amenities in my next condo video. This video was already pretty long, so I just stuck to the condo themselves.

I've been having difficulties deciding on where to move to Calgary, Alberta Or Cebu city, Philippines... But if rent is expensive as this Feeding and other fees wouldn't be this expensive right? I think a reasonable and modern condo in Edmonton and Calgary should be between 1300-2500. But none of these condos is up to a thousand That's interesting. And the channel manager feels they're overpriced Which means One can even get an apartment for 300 dollars monthly... So Philippines wins in the low cost of living..
