Great breakdown of the Holy Site! I think it probably would have been worth mentioning that religious units can only heal on them though.. took me a while to figure out why they were not healing, despite the button being available all the time.

It is any adjacent tiles to the holy site too, for healing. Question though, does planting a religious unit in an another civ's holy site prevent them from adding their own units?

I tend to value citizen slots in district buildings much more than before. First, they are normally yields you can hardly obtain from terrain, and affect your empire as a whole and not only per city (think of science, culture, gold, and faith). Secondly, I have the feeling than I'm misusing those buildings if I don't take care of the citizen slots. What's the purpose of growing by having more food if you will only earn extra food and a bit of production after that? Of course, it all depends on what your city is designed for.

Awesome contents, I periodically come to see your vids and all of them are very helpful. It's a lot more than what you'd expect from a relatively small channel. I am sure your channel will grow exponentially once maybe another civ comes out and interests are high.

Thanks, glad you enjoy it! The channel has grown quite a bit since earlier this year. It's slowed down a bit lately, but hopefully when the next DLC is announced it'll grow quickly again.

I actually recommend always getting temples if you want a religion, even if you're not going for religious victory. You may not want to spread your religion, but others civs will spread theirs, which means you'll need to fight off their apostles and missionaries, and remove their religion with your inquisitors. Inquisitors are amazing if you just want to keep your own religion in your cities.

Iksbrown Inquisitors are a solid, easy way to defend/win a religious emergency against your religion’s origin city. They can only affect your own cities, so they’re a poor offensive weapon. But otherwise if you have or can spawn a couple before your religion is wiped from all your templed cities, it’s easy to strip your cities of foreign religion.

Would have been good to mention which wonders require adjacency to holy sites for city planning and the fact that religious units can only heal or or adjacent to a holy site (in any territory, yours or enemy’s)

It’s fine if you don’t like religion irl lmao. This is just in-game religion, harmless stuff to you in real life. It’s fun with mess around with and try to push out other religions in favor of your own.
