This one turned out amazing! But I would have gone with a few shades lighter for the "tan" interior to better match real tan leather. It still works though!

I really like using the Vallejo paints but they always chip/rub off very easily. I often have to touch up the parts after assembling it due to this. How do you prevent that?

hi can you sand the base paint if there is any defects or should i apply clear and then sand?
@TheScalemodelingChannel4 жыл бұрын
if you sand the base paint, you need to add another layer of base paint before clear. use a 3000 grit

Just wondering if it's possible to do color match primer to help out with bleed thru? I heard you had problems on the yellow plastic kit. I see it done on real custom cars. Just wondering if it would work with the model cars too.... Like if you are painting red to tint the primer red.. Just a thought.....
@TheScalemodelingChannel7 жыл бұрын
+racnc1 it won’t help the bleed through. It would help the color to cover quicker though

Very clasy finish but i didnt like the too much metallic effect. This is 1/24 scale and i think the metallic effect should be according to the scale. For example, it could be less metallic. These small dots(metallic)disturbs me,this is my opinion. But overall it is a very nice built. Congratsz

Have you considered buying a cheap model, and experimenting with It? For example opening up the doors, doing something custom with scratchbuilding etc.

Nice work. I watched some of your other videos before. Quick question, why you didn't polish the surface this time? The car was super smooth and shiny only because of the two-layer clear coat? I am new in car model painting.

I did not polish it because it did not need polishing. The clear was nice even and shiny

Excellent build great work on the masking and the fine details. I don't often see you doing any scratch building on many of your kits how and when do you decide to augment the model with scratch build components or additional details. One comment though please ease off on the techno music it's distracting to listen to it while I'm trying to focus on watching what you're doing and listen to your comments how about some nice relaxing gentle music.
