Amazing as always. How long do you have to wait after painting before handling and working with the interior parts like that? I seem to have 2 issues, which I think are both directly related to enamel paints. I finally have an Iwata on the way so I am really hoping it is a big part of the solution for me. Problems are... 1. In order to work with the parts after hand painting with enamel I have to wait at least 24-48 hours otherwise I find a lot of the pieces have a decidedly tacky feel when handling for more than a few seconds.. (Which seems directly related to problem #2) 2. You make all your glue points and processes look so easy and effortless. Just add some glue, put in place, wait a few seco ds and voila. Perfection !! I feel like so much of the time I am required to hold the parts firmly together for 45-60 seconds (for good adhesion) almost everytime I glue a piece together, which inevitably links back to the piece becoming tacky in my hand.. I know these two items weren't perfectly phrased exact questions but, please.... anyone... everyone.. Help. It is really negatively impacting both my experience and my results because my hands wind up stuck to the model so often. I feel like this is the last hurdle to getting where I want to be and I would really appreciate some feedback....????

Stop using enamels. Start using acrylic and or laquer
@garethmurphy82354 жыл бұрын
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Okay, will do. Already in process because I was suspecting Enamels might be part of the issue. Iwata HP-CS and multiple Zero paints on the way. Thanks very much for the reply.

Why the use of Tamiya Primer? It's not specifically designated for resin either. Why not use Resin Etch Primer from ZP or Mr. Hobby/Gunze Resin Primer.
@TheScalemodelingChannel5 жыл бұрын
Because Etch primer works on Resin. and Tamiya primer is also made for both plastic and metal. So i figured it would work on resin aswell. The Tamiya primer is one of the best i have every used. so i gave that a shot.

Do you not have to wait to let the primer ‘gas out’ like the paint?

Hey dude, awesome build!! Quick question about the flocking: do you apply that directly to the wet black paint? Or do you let that paint dry and then apply the flocking with glue or something? Thanks again for the awesome build!!

Directly on the wet paint

How do you determine what brand of primers or paint you use? I noticed you have different brands. Great work btw.
@TheScalemodelingChannel3 жыл бұрын
I chose the primer depending on the surface i am painting. Resin,metal,plastic The brand of paint i use for the color And the color i’m going to paint the model

In real, those rear seats are pointless even though they say it's a four seater. Anyways, the detail on the interior is insane.

Worried about the paint creep on the flocking paint. Lol, there's no rear foot room... at all! Worried needlessly. Man, that looks awesome buddy.

Love your videos. Any idea why this decal came out like this? imgur.com/a/azOdH16 used Mr. Mark Setter before application and 2-3 light coats soaking up excess of Mr. Mark Softwr. Appreciate any input!

Looks like the decal solution dried on the decal/used a bit much without it being evenly spread/pooled up on areas
