This game feels very grindy. Ps how do you feel about walking simulators (with light choices). The game Two Falls (Nishu Takuatshina) just came out and looks very immersive. Can you take a lookt at that one pls?

Slay the spire doesent have the problem of "the game is unwinable untill u play 20hs" cause 1st it does't lock away all the best items and cards from the start (like this game, literally u cant get rare or epic cards at the start, u unlock them in order, the last 10 cards of each class u unlock are the best ones), not only that but the same goes for relics, items, hp, sanity, combo, energy, options, xp of cards, and some other stuff I probably dont even remember. What does all this mean at the end? Unlike slay the spire whith its ascention sistem, the game starts at its hardest (litrally unwinable, I would say for the 1st 5 or so hs) and as the player gets vetter with the mecanics u get like 10 diferent progression mechanisms (all behind heavy grind, as thats what it feels to play when u cant but be certain that the run is at the moment unwinable) .......... edit. I know that some pople who diden't play the game will instantly after reading this think "he must be so bad at the game thats why" but think of slay the spire but at the start of the game u have 1 slot for potions, only normal cards and relics, can only choose 1 path, 60%hp, 2 energy, only normal consumables (there are epic relics and consumables so its even worse), worse starting deck, and I'm probably missing stuff.

Doesn't seem too hard to relate to: basically the same mold of other roguelites or even bullet heaves from what you say, then? Where the unlocks are part of the expected progression and the game isn't quite designed for you to beat it on skill alone from the get go. Would you say that's the gist of it?

The Act 1 to Act 2 difficulty spike in this game is sheer lunacy And some of the worst difficulty balancing ive ever come across

Roguelite meta-progression is a plague on run-based games. Freakin' phone game grind mentality of these devs.

Its a campaign that fits into it, you are supposed to lose a lot of members of the group to learn more about the cult and your enemies. There is also a campaign boss. They added a free mode with all stuff unlocked but then you are only using 10% of stuff available
