Technically,their worst match was when they lost the belts to FF in Orlando where they almost got knocked out and FF had to just answer their 2-pointer.This could have happened here but that was an easy 5-pointer for 2 Innergeekdom great players like Korruption has.Round 1 basicaly decided this match coz individually as singles players Shazam is considerably better than Korruption.The only team that may beat them if they get out of the tournament is FF and i would still have them as considerable underdogs coz Rocha hasn't played his best in a while.I think for sure they defend against anyone else but we''ll see.

The most dominant team title championship match in the history of the schmoedown holy shit. Up by 8 going into the final round. 39-8 is deceptive because they didn't have to answer their 5 and just needed the first two or their second at least. There should be a way to easily designate matches that "look" close versus ones that are actually close.

not only am I SO FLIPPIN STOKED THE KID IS NOW A CHAMPION, but Chandru coming in at the end was the icing on the cake 😂😂 I love Shannon mike and Chance heaps, and Shannon is my fave team manager, and if they were going up against anyone other than SWAG or The Mercs id be upset right now. But I am SO HYPE, for Coy and the Mercs after this! And I can’t wait for Chandru to be the first in a while to defend the belt again! He isn’t the popular vote, but I definitely voted for him on that FB poll! He bet Smets, the player most people considered to be the most dominate. And only lost to him by a controversy the first time. The Chosen One is going to fulfill the prophecy at Spectacular and keep that belt for Swag, and Ace is going to join him! So much love for all these players again. This is a show and a sport, so obviously I have my favourites and then my favourites on top of those favourites, but I still love and respect all the competitiors that put on a HECK of a title match 🔥🔥

Wow. That was an amazing main event and props to everyone involved! Shazam! was an absolute buzzsaw today. Congrats to the Kid for winning his first belt! Congrats to Bibs for joining the ranks of players who have become champions in multiple divisions! And congrats to Coy for his first belt win as a manager! They're going to be really tough to beat come spectacular that's for sure. Props to Korruption for taking this loss on the chin. While Chance was off his game today and Mike was outright bad, they didn't make a single excuse for it. Shannon did everything she could to keep their heads in the game; but the combo of having a subpar round one, being visibly rattled, and Shazam's! pressure is probably too much for any team to overcome. They'll be back and as hungry as ever next season. After the post match interview, I'm even more stoked for the IG title match! Chance's knowledge will clearly be there, but he does have to watch out for that habit of misspelling stuff (ie, spotlights in today's match); because Chandru will be hunting for those mistakes and that can cost you in IG much more than singles and teams.

The betting round, Shazam shouldn’t have gotten that point. The timing ran out for 2-3 seconds before they answered. Should have been challenged. Would have forced a 5-pointer for Shazam, had that been the case. However, we could argue that Punisher was wrong bc he said final answer.
