The underdog never has it easy.
The odds are always stacked against them, often from birth.
There are dozens, hundreds of obstacles standing between them and greatness.
But in the end, when it really matters, they beat those odds.
Arslan Ash came out of nowhere to win Evo Japan. But his underdog story didn’t start with the grand finals.

AK was playing absolutely out of his mind to get to grand finals on winner’s side, and it would’ve been a great underdog story for another underrepresented region, like mentioned. This is how a scene grows! New blood inspires the new blood. Putting an entire region on the map is a lifelong legendary accomplishment. Mad respect to Arslan Ash and the Pakistani community. Also I loved that moment between Ash and Knee. Such respect between them. That moment to me is what the FGC is all about.

Thank you very much for the Tekken-content. Even if i do not play Tekken a lot i like to watch it and learn more about its scene. Can't wait for videos like "The story of Quadans".

There's a vid about that when he won World Tour. I enjoy Tekken too, it's very anime, the story about Ranchu (winning with Panda) is awesome

This guy stories is just as Sport Shonen plot as it could be Talent who come from nowhere (at that time in FGC), Beat Super player in his own territory one time, Fight super hard just to get to Venue on time, and Winning all the way to Champion while beat every strong player as much as it could be.
