serious question: what if someone bought TSM and went under new management, will the fans return or the legacy just gonna be in it's back?

Tbh at this point the best thing Regi can do for both the org and protecting his own wealth is to simply sell the org while the name "TSM" still has some remaining value. It can be absorbed into one of the newer esports orgs that are well run but don't have a strong brand name. Hire a couple of beloved former TSM figures to be players, coaches, streamers or whatever in order to create a sense of continuity between the old TSM and the new TSM, and boom, you probably can bring back a decent number of the fans lost in the last few years AND save a legendary pillar of esports history

I’m hoping a well liked and known creator in the space of league of legends acquires TSM to bring it back to what it was known for and recovers the reputation of the organization.

This was inevitable as these orgs are spending absurd amount of money on players and stuff without figuring proper business model . Over paying way too much

Just another reminder how terrible Regi is. Literally couldn't handle the bad press to the point he's tanked the company rather than fix the issues. Arguably the biggest narcissist in esports and that's saying something.

As a long time loyal fan I think the only thing Regi ever did good was step down from mid, giving it to Bjergsen. You know everything was going down hill when everyone close to him left. Not to mention all the players that fans come to love left too which didn't help since that was their main attraction initially. Also doesn't help when your CEO is a bully with no leash.

in Germany we say: "togesagte leben länger" I dont think TSM will just fade away, I mean the 9 people left statement makes no sense since the players are also employees... Even if it would come to an end with the current form of TSM I think there would most certainly be someone willing to buy the org because its still a prestigious name in Esports. lets wait and see what happens in the next few months, I think by then we will have a better picture of whats going on

Its funny to me that Reginald always defined himself by his succes and put himself over others when in reality he was just a gamer who was at the right spot at the right time, he wasnt even significantly good which is also the reason for his early retirement. He just got incredibly lucky to have some of the greatest e sport personalities on his team, his succes came from other people and he literally had to do nothing but harvest the goldmine and he managed to even fuck up that. This man has no accomplishments but an ego as if he achieved everything. His downfall is deserved. He showed time and time again that he doesnt want to better himself. He is just a bad character and his downfall was his own doing.

In all fairness, it was impossible for that announcement to ever come. That's because when the org made it public that they would be selling their LCS slot, they said they would be relocating to *another tier 1 region* , and since TSM wasn't playing in a tier 1 region at that time, it was impossible for this fact to come to fruition.

Fondly remembering TSM's golden days in 2013 and 2015 with fantastic rosters featuring players like Dyrus, TheOddOne, Reginald, WildTurtle, Xpecial, Darshan, Xmithie, Pobelter, Doublelift, and aphromoo. Unfortunately, expressing disappointment in Reginald's management decisions and the negative impact on the team's legacy.
