7 people is a lot to me. My only close family is my sister, parents and grandmother. They are the only people I would call if I got pregnant, and know that they genuinely cared about the baby and me. If my grandmother passed, it would only be this little nuclear family that we have. Seeing such warmth between so many family members made me think, too.

@@user-jk4jj4nm1q Honestly it's rly my dad, bf, my 4 yo & my aunt, who doesn't live close at all. My mom is still alive but lives in another state in an assisted living place & has dementia. I have a brother too but I haven't seen him since my daughter was born, almost 5 yrs. I couldn't even begin to tell anyone where he is bc Idk. That's it. Never met my mother's parents bc her father passed in a house fire & her mom passed when my brother was around 9 months old, 3½ yrs before I came along. My dad's parents were scum of the earth people. My dad went through hell with them growing up, unfortunately, but it made him stronger, more loving and all around a decent human being. Like I said I am grateful for what I have but always wondered what it would be like to have a somehow bigger fam.

Congratulations! It was hard to watch as my pregnancy was not an excitement to anyone around me including my partner and it broke my heart. I had a miscarriage around 12 weeks and had no support, just everyone saying it was for the best. I love my heaven baby more than any words could express and I can’t wait until the day I can meet him or her. I felt from day one that it was a boy, my sweet boy.
