I like the fact that Katie has been California Dreaming. I've lived in the dream of far northern California for 53 years and it does remind me of your island weather-wise. It is a much better song to sing, while laboring, than Whistle While You Work. Glad to see you made it all in one piece, both you and the work bench.

Katie I enjoyed your singing and Scott joining in. Your work bench is certainly very strong. I was wondering if it would get to it's spot in one piece, you do not know how many prayers it took to get it there, was I relieved when it did. That is a very nice telescope, my daughter has one which we still are trying to work out, it is very interesting and we enjoy it. Another lovely video and may you both have a lovely day.

Thank you for demonstrating why people don't normally roll their furniture up and down glen and dale to move. I think you've rounded the corners of the workbench a bit, but clearly it's a VERY sturdy workbench to survive offroading. Anything made in the last 10 years would probably have disassembled itself and you'd have had nothing but kindling to show for your efforts. Your workbench is still quite recognizable. I'm guessing the person who popped into the frame is the friend who is helping with the window in the livingroom and the finish on the wall. If that's not who he is, well, that's a little creepy.

If you ever decide to go to California, skip the southern cities but don't miss Big Sur - it might even surpass your island in beauty, and that really saying something! It's one of those special places on earth - nothing else like it. San Francisco is worth seeing and the redwoods. That little trolley is quite the piece of kit - it's amazing that you're moving heavy stuff down to the house. Well done! How nice to have such a good telescope to look at what is undoubted a very dark sky.

One of the main reasons I am addicted to this channel is the affectionate bickering between two old friends. Testimony of the strong bond you have there, which has way more staying power than a marriage contract. Your Bree is a drama queen just as much as my scot Whisky. Lots of drama until you pour the warm water over her, then she thoroughly enjoys her bath. It is more about "you have to stand still so we can do this now". Just wondering what you need the rowboat for if you don't live on an island. I suppose the hip also "needs a squirt of this" 😂

I have found that using 6 foot lengths of rebar that you can just push in, to reinforce the fence, means they can't push on it. Also, black cable ties are the least visible if you cut off the excess. Not too expensive either.

The original bar is still there. Tucson is where the OK Coral is and they have reenactment there. Big nose Kate is buried here in Prescott. This is where the oldest rodeo is held every 4th of July. Definitely "KZbin sensations"!! That's a workbench to hang on to...indestructible.

We wouldn't have gone to all that effort if I wasn't so emotionally connected to it. I have built and repaired a huge amount of furniture on that very bench.

Every option is considered before we get on with it. The trailer cannot be used for large and heavy items. The larger trailer is too big and also not ours to use.

Then that auld bench should have been taken apart and rebuilt. I think I heard Scott say he was going to replace a board! Just my opinion . I feel for ye when ye struggle.

The cave of shoes. I think it is supposed to be the cave of souls. That is why they took the heels off. There is folklore about the caves around the world and the souls of shoes being left and found some have tales of fairy people. I tried to research but went down too many rabbit holes as I don't know the name ancient name of the island. Loved the the video and enjoyed the searching. Thanks

The cottage is ours to do with as we please. The island is owned by a Third-party.
