@@cherrycat5599 there's a whole lot of evidence to make such an assumption first of all how the heck did he manage to tire rackham to his chair and him only notice it until its too late then there's that fact that he's at an air base and from all the noise Wilson nor any guard dudnt think to check on the random American civilian in a base who's playing poker or some other gambling card game with their pilot when they heard chairs banging and screaming heck why did Wilson even let Blackburn on the plane he had to have heard the racket not to mention even after they got into the air and found the munitions bunker how did anyone still not notice that the American they most certainly seen playing cards with their pilot was impersonating that pilot heck by that point rackham had to have been found and everyone alerted about the problem it shouldn't have taken presumbly 2 days at least for him to get busted especially since everyone on all sides were very cautious around new people on base that aren't part of their troops due to the likelihood of them being a spy I get its a game but it's clear this mission was intended to make you question if all that went down actually went down that way or even happened at all it's clear dice wanted the occurrences of this mission to be questioned and never fully trusted due to the nature of the character who we follow

The only problems I see with the air combat in this game are mostly human errors. First, indecisive behavior about what you're going to do will really limit how effective you are in a mission. Second, using the bloody rockets against the fighters is really a pure waste of the rockets. The are way too inaccurate for any effective fire, the machine guns are for the fighters, the rockets are for ground targets.

It's such a shame these stories are so short. I wish they were many times longer. One day maybe we'll get a proper WW1 game with a really long story, or multiple for several characters based on real events but not entirely factual, even one or two at the opposing side of the war, the Central Powers, and at least one story where the Central Powers - mainly Germany since they held out the best out of their alliance - win the war. Though as I said, that would be very much unhistorical, but based on what we know and what might've brought them victory.

I love how as the story progress, our protagonist are becoming more and more heroic, as he became almost as invincible as a superhero near the end. Whether it actually happened or not, it is up to us to interpret. And that's just the most fascinating part. It could happen tho, in 1 in a million cases, perhaps if the guy was extremely lucky. This is my least favorite mission because the ending where Blackburn finishes a narration said by himself in the future telling his story makes you question what is real and what is fake and we know from the get go that Blackburn is a big liar and will always lie so that makes you wonder if what happened as you play the story truly happened just as we see it unfold or heck even happened at all for all we know he could just be making up the whole story and lying out his rear end
