im also solo. but i start mulching in oct and come back every 2 or 3 weeks to mulch again so i dont have a huge one time clean up. p.s. i also just turned 80.

I've been on two day jobs ( mostly because I might have done it in 4 or 5 hour blocks at a time, to have time to get other jobs done, or so I wouldn't have to work a whole Sunday or something ) .....but that's when I was beating myself up pulling loaded tarps by hand long distances..... then I finally stepped up from just walkbehinds to full size riders for mowing more, and that changed the game for tarp pulling and time efficiency for leaf cleanups.

I’m looking at adding a mower mounted blower for next leaf season. Is the Umount blower worth the extra money over a walk behind mounted on a blower buggy? Would you buy the 7hp Umount again or would you get the 14hp?

I would definitely go with the 14hp Umount blower. The 7hp blower works well, but I would spend the extra money and get the 14hp. Unfortunately when I bought mine, the 14hp wasn't available yet.

Do you feel that the 580 MK III is equal to the 8010, or just a bit behind but more comfortable?

I feel like the Husqvarna 580BTS Mark III is a lot more comfortable than my ECHO 8010 blowers. I think they have as much power as well. I’ll make a good comparison video of the 2 when I get a chance. Appreciate you watching!
