I decided to start using your hair growth oil after my first child. I had postpartum shedding and I needed my edges back. The oil worked so well that I decided to start using your henna bars and mask. Let me tell you...I have never seen my hair grow and thrive as much as it has since using your recommendations. I have been natural for many years but I never took good care of my hair. My hair would literally have to be cut 4-6 inches every year. It has almost been 2 years since incorporating your routines, my hair is 2 inches from my belly button. I thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. It really does take patience and diligence. Thanks again and God bless you and your family.

It was definitely true that in the beginning I was bouncing around from product to product. However, I settled on 99% Ayurveda for my hair. First because it was the products were cheaper and I could always have them on hand, thereby enabling my hair to reap the benefits of health and growth. Also I cannot stress enough the importance of CONSISTENCY. Oddly, you have been dropping videos on my bi monthly hair weekend. Love it. I tried going a month without a hair day, but my hair and scalp would not participate. Bi monthly is the longest I can go, so that my progress is sustained. My fresh mint/rosemary tea is a staple in my arsenal because it is not sticky and the build up is minimal. BTW Curly your makeup is banging girl. Those eyebrows are ON POINT!!!!😂✌🏾

Hi CP!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE that you finally did a simplistic starter video, it is long over due!! I truly wish I had a video like this when I initially began my back to natural journey because as you noted, one can get extremely confused and overwhelmed with all the diverse info available on and off social media driving you to to think you need a slough of hair products that you simply end up ever using. This definitely happened to me. If not for my daughter telling me to stop, I would've had enough products to open my own hair supply store! 😆 So thanks again. Sending love and light. 😘

It takes awhile to know what is BEST FOR YOUR HAIR. Once size doesn't fit all. Had to kiss a few frogs until I found some product lines that work. Like to switch it up cause my hair gets too comfortable with one product and I don't get the same results. I do the clay wash, the henna treatment and in between a Ayurveda mask. The product line I use based on the treatment. Something with honey when doing the henna, clay deep conditioner with clay wash, different kinds. And Ayurveda my normal rose water collection. Took 2 years to get it down right.

Awesome video...I'm not that new and still need stuff..tangle teaser!!! yes!!edges are directly connected to our lymphatic circulation. We should be careful with all the tightness, and glues, and pulling that disrupts the lymphatic circulation, otherwise the edges will no longer feel welcome...I can't even use edge control. (I've tried many) Because they smother my scalp around my edges, making me sweat there, making my hair revert within minutes....lol...making the need for more edge control.. same..rinse repeat...what's the use? lol...I'm over the slaying of edges. I just wear my hair in a way that doesn't make a show of them...lol

Hi Farida what can i do with thinning hair? I'm caucasian from Scotland🙏😘
@LRH13 жыл бұрын
Greetings CMR. As you do you wash days, start with fenugreek seeds , rosemary & try teas like green tea or chamomile. These have medicinal properties that will strengthen hair that will reduce & stop shedding . If possible 1st use a mild baby shampoo or a Castille soap with a moisturizing conditioner. 1.) The herbs (mix together, use what you have available) & teas can be brewed in a tea on your wash day & used as a final hair rinse then dry & style as uaual. FYI - heat is not a thinning hair's friend. Avoid if possible or use cool to low heat settings if you must.. If you save @ 1 cup of your chosen combination to use as a hair spritz as you style your hair ,please store in fridge & keep no longer than a week. 2. Rosemary is powerful & ended my excessive shedding & allow my strands to grow. (I researched sage, bay leaves & cloves to aid in building back my hair) Knowing if it's hormonal, Stress etc will aide in help treating your entire body holistically. I state this because, one must also consider their diet (foods you live & grow your hair from). Also are vitamins a part of your daily routine? 3.) FYI - one can brew a tea to encourage hair grow. Please research what your body will allow. Each one of us are unique & special. For example 1 to of fenugreek seeds to 1 cup of hot water covered to steep for @ 10 minutes. I drink & then chew on the seeds. Best wishes on a healthy hair journey. If possible look at some of her early KZbin videos & visit her website www.curlyproverbz.com .I gain nothing from pointing you there. She only transformed by hair till my hair stylist wants in on what I am doing. Guess what... I used free knowledge & did my research .

Your welcome. When I felt the hardness / dryness, I eased back on the henna or other herbs in my routine. I did a clarifying shampoo, then used a diy avocado with honey, i blended a aloe leaf & used half cup with glycerin to create mask that I added a tsp & half of conditioner with a tbsp of castor oil or a hair growth oil ( oil, avocado , a dry mix) . I wrapped plastic & kept it in for @ 2 hrs. Once I deep conditioned & I used a green tea infused with rosemary (I made @ 4 cups) hair rinse that I didn't washout. Air dried my hair after used a diy butter mix (Shea, coconut, castor & olive oil with a hit of glycerin this is store in fridge) then styled . The aim is to know which oils & butters your life thrives from. I aim to steam my hair once a month with either a deep conditioning ( for me I find if I spritz my hair with a tea or water lightly then apply conditioner & massage the strands the hair accepts) or steam when I used a clay diy mix, again I use a spritz then apply treatments. Also my add spends better with a tsp of a hair growth oil with my diy.

If you color your hair this adds to dryness & hardness sometimes, so color 1st then do a deep conditioner with a little extra love last. No Two coloring treatments are the same. Extra is aloe juice, glycerin , a few drops of olive, jojoba oil mixed into conditioner

Greetings, Ms. CP has hair treatment calenders on her business website. There also several early KZbin hair videos on this subject. If you have a free time, grab a notepad , beverage of choice & hit play. Or grab a current calenders plan out your wkly hair schedule & then make notes to see how your crown & strands react. This is a game changer because, you can identify your bodies likes & dislikes. So protein treatments are like "special hair foods" try those once every 4 was. Moisturizing treatments help strands shine & retain moisture. This should be incorporated in treatments with a layering. Spritz, butter, infused within some elixir, diy moisture treatments (here you feed your strands what she loves.here you work with your budget from your kitchen pantry), nightly massage & a part of wash day (aloe, honey , glycerin). Do what us comfortable for your home & lifestyle. Ms. CP serves a Killah informational journey that is a "re-searchable" & one can confirm fie self. Start with small steps & you can design a calender you can tweak as you try out more information. Best wishes

I’m certainly guilty of being a product junkie. 😉 I would like to see a video about Fall/Winter Haircare

Do you have a video that discusses your hair type? If not will you share what your hair type is?

You are the best Farida. I've learned a lot with you about my hair. My hair today never been so beautiful. I'm not gonna lie, I made mistakes but today I know how to treat and listen my hair. I hope to finally let it grow in peace. Cheers! 🇧🇷

Thank you for your videos. You are an educator at heart; you are in your own category! I love your video's and its content. I accidentally, combed a lot of my hair out two years ago because it gets so tangled at times, I will try the Tangle Teezer. Since then, I noticed the thickness of my hair has not been the same. I have tried different products for about one year or so, do you have any suggestions?

been watching your videos for years and on and off incorporating things but not consistently. Ready to commit to my hair journey now and just wondered does the henna dye your hair/make it darker as thats why ive not tried it as im dark brown and not wanting it to look darker. Also i find that castor oil and coconut oil is too heavy for my hair, what oils would be lighter that dosnt weigh it down so much? thank you x

Hi Farida, i bought your hennas and the Fenugreek oil, the shipping was so quick and 5* customer service ! OG its good my hair feel so soft all day after oil, the concern is because i am doing that every day my scalp is a bit itchy (no allergy) and yes as you mencioned i felt my hair i little drier after using henna for the very first time and i just used a spoon in my deep conditioner, so i am planning to use it just once a month . The question is if it’s still going to help growing my hair that way? and the oil should i reduce the days ? Hope you can spot my comment and help me Thanks and kisses from London❤️

Hi love thank you for your glowing review ! Wow UK that means you are watching at 2:30 am 🤯 I would cleanse your scalp and use oil every 3 day’s. Try henna as a tea spray perhaps and follow with moisture 2 x a week and see how you go. Listen to your hair. Xx
