My grandpaw told me once that if it isn't broke don't fix it cause he was about saving money but I never could hold to that much because I rather fix it before it's broke to cause I don't like being broke down and I like doing the work myself and that way I know my vehicle inside and out so when something does go wrong I usually know exactly what it is and what it takes to fix it.

Another entertaining video Ron. It’s very cool the things you go over and the safety precaution warnings are very important. Thank you for taking the time to share this information. Looking forward to the next installment.

Hi Ron my first 2 updates would be after tires both rad hoses and clamps and both heater hoses and clamps. Then new antifreeze and the thermostat. Also check the rad core. Have a nice day. Tom up in Canada in the Maritimes at the NB-NS border

Greetings Ron From Colorful Colorado, I sure appreciate the RV Education you gave here in this video. Now I am feeling sick knowing my 12 year old full tread tires gotta go. Not only that but I think my toilet flush valve froze and is now leaking. Pack the wheel bearings? It takes me long enough as it is just packing food, Guiness and clothing. I suppose I could pack some wheel bearings right next to the canned food in one of the cabinets with mouse droppings. John

Too Funny John!! Yes there is a lot to know about maintaining these "space ships" I like to refer to them as. many systems in them one has to learn how to operate properly and maintain. Yes is sucks not wearing off the tread on a set of tires. they want to be run :-)

Very nice video, appreciate the thoroughness of your inspection. But the big question is "Does the beer-colderator work properly?". If not, I'd scrap the whole deal...

I can't disagree with anything you said. I think it's also important to know, that those engines are supposed to be tuned twice a year. At least on that's how we did our cars. Points, plugs, rotor, condenser, and cap once a year. You were talking about service interval for bearings, and I thought, 'at that age, the service interval is now'. Speaking from my lack of knowledge, does Firestone actually make RV tires? I don't know.

At least this one does not have points/condenser in it. The cap and rotor should be good for 30-50K miles I would think. Plugs should pull 30K also. You are correct the bearing need servicing NOW. They are on the schedule. These tires are 16.5". Not many manufacturers make those anymore. Might have to buy 16" rims and switch over to the more easily obtained 16" tires.

Just curious my friend: do you have an estimative on how much it will cost to chance the things you’ve pointed? Your check list was really impressive! Very well done! Next time I buy an used car I’m gonna ask your help!😊😊

Greetings Mr Regis!! I am budgeting $3000 U.S. to bring the neglected maintenance up to current and the repairs to the RV plumbing system. Another $1500 for tires and the misc hardware needed for them very important items. There are 6 of them on this rig. So I guess $6000 with purchase price and repairs is not to bad for something to tour around in. If this work was being done at a shop it would almost triple the repair cost of $4500

The best thing Ron is that you know what the Baby needs and you know how to do it. Keep us posted about the progress of your work, ok?

Dear Mr. Ron. I definitely liked the first part about this great RV but not this second video. Therefore please kindly allow me to suggest something: How about more working and less talking in the future? You can still explain things while repairing respectively changing out things. Just like you did in the first part. Best regards, luck and health in particular.

Thank you for your input and being kind about it. The repairs are taking place now and another video is in production with more "work" being done :-)
