Ron, really like your video. As a 47 year tech your upper rad hose needs protection from rub through at the fan shroud and the small metal tube. Also, do not put anti-seize on wheel studs as doing so will affect wheel nut torque just clean studs, and wheel and lug nuts. You can clean wheel and hub or rotor where wheel meets and it is ok to put anti-seize on those sufaces so the wheel will not rust together. Keep up the great work!

Older Rv's parts are built better but hard to find. Fixing up a older one the money spent will be a lot less than buying a new one. that's for sure

Actually I have a 19' boat that kept me poor for a couple years. I need to put a set of primary drive bearings and seals in it. Pretty sure I was dropped one my head as a infant ;-D

I'm not surprised you had to go with a new radiator. I am surprised that you decided not to drop that fuel tank to deal with that old fuel line. Hope you didn't fill it too full...

Dang it!!! Gauge says 1/2 tank now. I got a pump I can hook up to the fuel line and pump it out. Just hate working under stuff. To cramped. Need a concrete slab to work on at least. A Guy can dream!!

I paid 7000 for 89 Toyota dolphin. It’s going in for the safety inspection next week but it drove 50 miles without any problems. And it doesn’t stink. I really didn’t have to ask about it. Paperwork from when it was like I said in another comment inside where we done 2005 to 2006. I’m trying to find someone to take the toilet and black water tank out so I can put in a cassette, I want the booth taken out with put storage in it with a lagun table in the refrigerator replaced with a 12 V upright small one. And a new countertop. there’s a tiny bit of water damage between the stove and the sink from the water from the sink. that’s kind of overwhelming just to find someone to do those things so I can deal with it as someone who wears a leg brace. Wish me luck. I bet that’s gonna be a nice RV when you’re done. I’d love the old ones and I never thought I’d be able to handle one, then I saw the dolphin. I do like the post in it because I’m kind of a shabby chic type person and it will go good with my vintage bark cloth that I’ve collected over the last 15 years. I am a mixed media artist and I can’t wait to get to work on it. Wish me luck, but I can find someone to make those little changes without costing a fortune. I was the first person to see it after it was advertised and three people were waiting to look and went home unhappy . I knew it wouldn’t last so I bought it after through it. The seller told me not to be surprised that someone ask me to sell it. If I can’t find someone to do the work to make it easier for me to use I might have to sell it. But I don’t want to. That was a comment, apologies. I’m kind of nervous and excited. Painting it next week..

I'm about to take on a 1983 Winnebago Lesharo. It needs a new radiator but I also wanna install a transmission oil cooler on it. When I saw that you have a radiator that has both engine and transmission oil cooling through it, I think it would be cool to get one that has that and fit it in so I wouldn't have to get multiple parts. As far as I'm aware, they already have an engine oil cooler but more couldn't hurt eh? Anyway, given your expertise, would this work as long as I got a similar size and bought appropriate tubing and fittings? Thanks!

Hello Vern. Sounds like you have made a lot of upgrades on you RV. Ive picked up a few sets off of Amazon. Just type in chrome wheel simulators for what ever size your rim is. 16", 16.5", 19.5" etc....

The original owner bought it new and planned to winter in Florida in it. 2nd winter he had a stroke and the thing sat in a poll barn for 3 years, until she passed, and he went to a nursing home. Your probably wrong about the millage. Older vehicles only had 5 digits, and reset at 100k to 0, always do a vin check, and the best clue is the numbers on the odometer do not line up.

Most mechanics will say it's a "5 hour job" because they're burning time to make money. It's a complete rip off, especially if the job only takes 45 mins, car dealerships are the same way, since they often work off commission.

I use my local radiator shop for radiators but buy new heater cores.
