I somehow knew grandis would be on here. I started the game shortly before bt9 came out and I pulled grandis from a box and didn’t even realize it was an alt art and because of that I alwys though the original art was more dynamic and naturally that’s the alternate art.

fun vid! i def agree with this list.. for me, I own regular and alt art zwart defeat and I must say the alt are is alot worse. He kinda looks like he is just posing for a picture shot when the regular looks like his dynamically stabbing something with his ancient sword more visible

Man I gotta agree with the armour cards. They're just kinda standing there posted up in their alts, looks awkward. One of my least favourites is the Chaosdramon alt, he just looks so weird in it compared to the original

Thankfully Rapidmon Alt reeeeally drives up the armour's, a personal favourite of mine. Oooo totally agree with the Chaos and one I'll probably put in a future video, he looks disgustingly menacing compared to the alt, versus ooo I'm blasting my cannon ahhh

Magnamon X, Deathxmon, Kimeramon (BT-8), Omnimon Zwart Defeat, and Dorimon all look way better in their normal art imo.

I used to really dislike the kimera original when it first hit but something about its design has reeeeally come around for me now. Zwart defeat for suuuureee you really don't see how thin he is in the regular. Love these picks

You're actually so right bro, definitely one of my biggest gripes was with EX2's alt arts, so many just awfulll screenshots hahaha. My personally most disliked from that set was Cyberdramon

I dislike 90% of the alt arts in Digimon card game. I am a collector of the cheapest playable versions of cards. I will even trade off alts for 2-4 regular arts, unless its extra expensive than I just sell it.

Thats totally fair! I love collecting alt's for decks I love but playing the game regardless of rarity comes first for me.
