Oooo Tom they are all fab for different reasons of course! The e.l.f pure skin range is great for barrier repair and nourishment. Medik8 great for cell turnover and Dr Ceuracle so great for itchy scalp! Xxx

Thank you for the detailed review. I've got super dry skin so I have been wondering about the Elf holy hydration range - would you say this range is better for super-dry skin or not?

Hey lovely! I definitely think the pure skin line is more nourishing and richer for dry skin than the holy hydration line. The holy hydration line will help but for dry skin you just want that extra bit of nourishment and to strengthen the barrier, which pure skin is all about. Hope this helps xxx

I can only attest to the holy hydration cream! I tried it and liked it but as a person with dry/normal skin it definitely lacks that hydration that you may be looking for (it’s a nice lightweight gel consistency). Fortunately I tried it in a the summer and enjoyed it, it didn’t even irritate my sensitive skin! But keep in mind that product doesn’t quite live up to the title

The cleanser is more of a gel to me but I love it! Toner is nice Moisturizer is trash! 👎

Me again 😂 Have you tried the geek & gorgeous retinal? How does the Medik8 compare to it? (I was hoping to upgrade from retinol to retinal in the next couple of months)

Heyyy hehe! I haven’t tried it no :( G&G is a brand I absolutely do need to try this year. I’ve heard great things, especially from Rob (MAS). Price point of course G&G is winning but unfortunately I don’t know the comparison in terms of feel, results etc as I haven’t tried the G&G one. Same 0.1% Retinal in both bit of course, the other ingredients in the formulations play a key role in the overall performance. Maybe give the G&G product a go first and then if you like try Medik8. I know you can go up with Medik8 to their special 0.2% but only if you have proof you’ve used 0.1% a couple of times (some sort of secret club 😜) let me know how you get on and what you end up choosing! Definitely worth an upgrade from Retinol though xxxx
