I've lived in different countries and what I realized when I came back to Poland is how autentic Poles are. They won't smile if they don't feel like it, they won't hide their feelings even the negative ones and for sure thet won't be overly friendly when they don't know you. It may be sometimes consider rude but for me it's much better than the fake friendliness and asking how someone is if one is truely not interested in the answer. When Pole is friendly is because they consider you a friend. If Pole asks you how you are, they really want an answer.

Półki w sklepach były puste, to uprawialiśmy warzywa i robiliśmy przetwory. Dokąd my, Polacy zmierzamy??
@4nk
@4nk 2 жыл бұрын

Z POLSKIM SERCEM. Robię, co mogę, i najlepiej, jak umiem.

Mieszkam w Białymstoku. Plusy wg mnie z perspektywy mojego regionu: 1. Spokój i bezpieczeństwo. Można bez obaw na kilka chwil zostawić otwarte auto by np przenieść zakupy do domu z ogólnego parkingu. Kilka razy zdażyło mi się zapomnieć zamknąć auta i stało tak dłużej niż dobę. 2. Blisko do natury (nawet parki w mieście przechodzą w las) 3. Ludzie w większości są prostolinijni. 4. Pyszne jedzenie, szczególnie nasze regionalne (babka ziemniaczana czy kiszka ziemniaczana) 5. Jest taniej niż w innych miastach

I am from Poland and I travel a lot. Especially by comparison, the best things are: cleanliness, how modern Poland is, and by that I mean e.g. possibility to pay almost everywhere by card or even contactless. Sometimes even people on the streets who ask for support for their foundation give you the possibility to pay by card. I also like that we still address people by Mr. and mrs., instead of by 'you'. (I even cringed when I was writing this 'you')

You must have forgotten your other video where you said that Poles are extremely self-critical. We Poles are so extremely self-critical that we can't possibly say things that we like about Poland. But we could write various comments, which bothers us about Poland! But there is one thing I like about Poland. I like Polish self-criticism, which then prevents arrogance towards others. :)

America for decades) I would say the best thing is the people are much better looking and especially thinner than Americans who are about 70% overweight, with Canada not being much better. The advantage canada nad the US have is way more personal space and nature, water, plentiful and safe swimming areas, and more variety of food (which may contribute to the obesity problem!l

Personally, I think that Polish teenagers and their incredible sense of humor, character, and overall badass being are one of the best things in Poland. You can't find an Polish teen in age of 13-15 that will not do something after sentence "masz psyche?". They are funny, often cheerful, maybe not positive all the time, but that's not bad. Most of them are crazy and brave, so if you tell them to jump from the roof to a pool, they'll do this. Also, they are open to new friends, so no matter if you're from Poland, USA, Australia, Hungary - if you're a teen, go find an true Polish friend. (I'm myself a Polish teen so Ik what I'm sayin')

Love it! yeah, the hustle culture, the grind and showing how "good" you are because you're an entrepeneur and everyone should because otherwise they are not "living to their potential" is really annoying and make some people think "too much" of themselves while we "normal" people think we might be doing something wrong with our lives even when we are happy just the way we are living life. I can't wait for this trend to be over. The world can learn some humbleness from Poles and Poland. (writing from Germany)

Hospitality (guests from abroad are traditionally welcomed vegetarian with mushroom soup and pizza al funhgi); 2. pronounced tolerance of religion ;3. touching acceptance of the LGBT community ; 4. and last, but not least, first-class medical care for all healthy people! And let's not forget the very best - the stunning Polish humor! 😅 😂 ❤️

the more foreign languages I learn (mainly Romance and Slavic), and thanks to this I get to know other nations on a deeper level, the less I am convinced about the uniqueness of Poles, but the more I appreciate Polish culture (I mainly mean cinematography and literature), which in total creates certain humanistic atmosphere, fairly deep but not over-intellectualized or over-aestheticized like French, in which I feel comfortable, regardless of the language.

2021, the year Poland died. They were so brave and went through so much, but in 2021 they turned into spineless cowards who betrayed everything they fougth for, everything they stood for and cowardly submitted to their enemies. RIP Poland, you are no more. Your ancestors are ashamed of you.
