Unisport reviews are very vague, confusing and sometimes it feels that J Mike doesn’t understand what he is saying. It’s like: “Puma future ultimate are the great boots with great fit. They are soft and very comfortable….. however sometimes they feel very weird on feet, the lockdown is not the best etc. But don’t get me wrong these are nice boots but not for everyone” What??? Getting really excited for these after the reviews so far. Might be in the minority but I'm intrigued by the gripknit especially if it isn't as much as the GX. People forget that part of the DNA of the OG years of the Mercurial (not the Vapor) was some amount of grip tech on the boot.

You know what my initial thought was about those cool wave studs... what if they are less about traction for running, but more for extra friction to stop a ball that's zipping quickly along the ground towards you with the sole of you boots (a riskier move than stopping the ball with your in- or out-step but sometimes it's advantageous depending on in-game circumstances unless I'm trippin') 🤔 As you stomp down on the ball, the regular studs will dig in the most as usual, but what if the wave studs also dig into the ball? Sole stomp - foot is above ball - roll it out - shoot - score! 🎉 Don't get me wrong, I suspect they included them primarily or entirely with running traction performance in mind.
