Agree. This AG soleplate should be called FG-AG. It works great on FG surfaces and it gives more variations of receiving and controlling the ball with the outsole. Shooting and crossing is also a little bit easier because there is less chance of kissing the ground with the shorter studs.

Can you comment on the durability? I had the last year's model with AG soleplate. The soleplate cracked on both feet, right under the ball of the foot. These seem to have the same soleplate which scares me away a little...

I have a pretty wide feet and I was really concerned about it. I bought the Gxs around two months ago and they are amazing for wide feet. Since the start of my experience with them they have shaped pretty well around my feet. My only complaint for this boot is the stud pattern which seems to get better with the AG model. Overall it's perfect for wide feet.

I'm on the same boat... Puma's MG outsole is better. However, if these fit you better and you play on nice AG fields, the Phantom might just be better for you. Personally, the Future fit me better than the Phantom so it's not really a choice for me. Straight up Future MGs for me all day long.

The Nike AG outsole is better than the Puma MG, but the Puma MG will probably be better than the Cyclone360 on AG surfaces.

I have wide feet and watched a few videos saying Nike have a wide shoe finally since the days of the total 90s. Well luckily I went to a storefront that actually had the elite and pro version. Let me tell you NOT made for wide feet. I even tried a size up and couldn’t get my foot in, talking about phantom gx 2. So no clue how anyone says for wide feet and I don’t think my feet are that wide. Tell me what I’m missing that it can be worn by wide feet? Tiempos are better but still tight in toebox

Bummer! Sorry to hear that mate. In the same size the GX2 is objectively wider than the Tiempo, so maybe the shape of the Gx2 just isn't suited for your feet 🤝

Hi, if you go with the Ag-variant on Furon, know that it adds about 45 grams of weight if you compare it to the fg-variant. I have 2 pairs of furon with fg but they get butchered on ag-pitches Gx2 ag on the other hand actually shaves about 5 grams, when you go with the ag-variant. (190-195 grams)

But why you reccomend AG more than FG? FG is supposed to have better tech for good pitches. I train in FIFA 2 star AG pitch and feel almost like high level FG pitch. But most teams in my tournament play in FG pitches but they aint really good pitches. I bought the FG model was it the correct decision?

brooooo i just ordered a pair of luna 2's.. custom made on the nike app. i cried after realizing they didnt come with a shoebag?!?! hahaha i can always buy a separate (even better one) but still!!! hahahaha cmon man... they should give a bag at least for that price tag right??? hmmm..

Neither. 1) Your position has nothing to do with the boots you wear. 2) Neither boot is best in it's category and not even close to the top. 3) Find boots that FIT you the best.

I have tried these and they are abslolutly not for me , too stif , compression IS high level even more than the superfly in same size. I don't know why you still saying it IS made for wide feet without talking MORE about the toebox of any shoes you review it IS very very important , this model just Squeez my last 3 toes it IS not tolerable
