I’m with you Tony! My first recollection to wanting Jordan’s was in 93 and the Playoff 8’s were the pair I wanted. But like you said, Mom wasn’t paying for those joints back then and from then on every pair thereafter caught my eye. I remember in 98 when watching the playoffs against the Jazz, and he wore the last shot 14’s. I remember scouring the mall and couldn’t find them, so I settled for the bred pair of the jumpman team II’s. Heck, the last shot 14’s probably didn’t even release when I was looking. For all I knew, I saw them on his feet, they had to have been out there in the malls. But what a crazy time we live in. We always know when pairs are releasing, but back then without social media, you had to go to the malls to see when pairs were dropping or what was out there. It’s nice to go and buy pairs that are nostalgic, so I definitely copped the playoff 8’s here recently. The pair that caught my eye back in the day!
