Little quick tip that i think barely anyone knows: Holding the pause button brings you instantly into the stats menu! So no frickling with the menus when you wanna adjust your style for certain spots! Also i'm pretty sure scoop speed as of right now doesn't do anything. I haven't noticed any difference at all for all kind of shov tricks going from lowest to highest settings.

Yeah scoop speed doesn’t really do much, but it does offset a bit for the gravity being higher. It’s just a small detail that will be ready for when it’s working. And yea, I seem to always forget to tell people the fast way to open the stats menu 😂 Someone that has been playing session for soo long told me they only Just found out about it 🤣 I’ll be sure to mention it the next Stats video I do

I always have pretty high manual pop height, because I do a lot of Mullen tricks. Nose manny to nollie tre up a step, back into nose manny :p

I'm always changing my stats. Depends what I'm skating. I always have flip speed low at like 4. And have side impulse and board pitch max.

Yeah I have flip speed all the way too the bottom, otherwise slow flips are ridiculously hard to do and fast is easy which isn’t really legit

Is it me or do stats definitely vary depending not only what system but even what TV you have. People need to build their own stats based on preference. Copying other people's stats is gonna fuck you over in the long run. Understanding what each Stat does in my opinion the most important.

JL do you know that you can tweak the filmer cam now by clicking the left stick? You can change the camera lens and filter without going into the settings, and you can set how the filmer cam follows, but it needs work IMO

While the replay editor is open, you can press L3 and it will open filmer mode. This is a mode that lets you film the clip manually without keyframes. It’s a tough mode to learn but that’s what they are talking about

Can someone explain to me when "lipslides" became a thing? I'm 37. When I skated, it was a board slide...no matter what way you facing. When I tell ya, I lived for skateboarding...I lived, breathed, and ate skateboards. I mentioned this to some of my old mates, and they said, "OKAY!!! I THOUGHT I WAS CRAZY AND DIDN'T WANT TO LOOK DUMB SO I NEVER SAID IT, BUT YEAH...THEY WERE BOARDSLIDES!"

Lipslide has always been a thing (I’m 34, skated since 96, always knew about lipslides). It’s not about what way you are facing, it’s when your back foot goes over the rail or ledge first before landing on the rail or ledge. Boardslide it front foot goes over ledge or rail first.

So for extra scoop, it wasn’t till recently that we figured out what it did. It affects side pop and how angled you pop. So with it set low, when you side pop, you rotate about 10 degrees. With it set Max, when you side pop you rotate about 45.

I usually keep pop height to 1 or 2 over default because it's still realistic but it can get absolutely ridiculous like tony hawk status pro skater 😂😂

I turned off Sync flip / scoop speed now. No release allows you to have more control of your movement right after pop so I like that one but I treat it like Full release when I do fliptricks into grinds

I'm getting some fps stutter after my grind tricks on Xbox series x. Is this a known error? I have tried tweaking animations, vsync etc without any luck.

There’s a few other things you can try: Turn Day/Night Cycle Off. Turn Simulate Clouds Off -Cloud Coverage Off or Very low. -Turn pedestrians off for the time being. -Vsync Off -Optimize gameplay for Performance rather than Graphics -Turn down the in game music audio -Upon initial load up, try using a bus station or changing maps and swap back. Something about reloading the maps definitely help.

So, I am definately curious to follow up on this question, is there going to be a graphical fix for the "Lame grind tricks?" Meaning when you get into a grind, and its not a strong grind... if that makes sense... it then looks like the board is litterally "rolling around the skaters ankles" I hope there's a remedy for this. You can throw flip tricks by moving the arc around so like for a tre flip instead of rolling from left to down to right on the back stick, try up to left to down and then throw the other foot. The tricks all rotate around an axis of deployment. All tricks have this. Like 10 different looks for each

They are talking about getting the lazy back foot style Tre flip. So activating the straight back foot animation (which is something that either isn’t working anymore or just way harder to activate then it used to be)

I’ve done many tests with 0% and I can say that it’s Not realistic, harder yes, possible to get trick, yes… but the way it works right now isn’t right. I know from experience IRL how it should work. If you enjoy 0% that’s fine, but it’s been proven that it’s not realistic until they add balance system. Even the Devs themselves say 0 isn’t ready and that it’s recommended to have 2-3 notches.

Make sure you have Quick Shoves enabled in flip trick settings. While in manual, scoop back foot stick and release sticks (this will do a quick shove) then quickly reinput front foot stick half up to land in nose manual
