When I first came across the Sheikh in the late 90s I knew he was special and we were lucky to have him. 25 years later and I feel the same but multiplied by a thousand. He really has always been a voice of truth from those confusing times until the present day. He steered the ship of British Islam so well. May Allah bless him and give him every success including a long life 🤲🏽

Dear Brother AoA I would re-phrase it as:- "The Qur'an contains the "MESSAGE"of Allah (swt) in his own words," The "ESSENCE " of the Qur'an is it's "MESSAGE" !! For people who are non-Arabs, simply reciting the words without understanding it's "MESSAGE " is like missing out it's "ESSENCE " !! We need to read it in the language we understand (Translation of the Qur'an) It is like someone going for Haj and performing all the rituals but misses attending the day of Arafat !!
