Love! Thank you for taking the time to research this! I would love to see an, "if all my makeup was gone, what items would I immediately purchase" in both high end and drug store selections. You have so much experience with way more products than most women, so it would be awesome to see what your "can't live without" list looks like! I'd also love to hear a list of "mature face" options - maybe a collab with your mom? My “yank”with drugstore make up is it is ALWAYS compromised. I watched two twenty somethings yesterday open five foundations, try it on their faces, and put the foundation back - Entirely gross - not to mention one of the women had cystic acne - UGH

NXY Glitter Glue is a best seller .Recently I tried my old Milani Luminoso blush and sadly it barely showed up weird cause I used to love it. Wet & Wild is the only drugstore eye shadow that I like. Love Maybelline mascaras.

Love video! As a person who has a “much-too-large” collection; frm highest-end, to drugstore, I use a few products regularly frm drugstore. Imho: Fav DS products: Mascara- Milani Ultra Rich Anti Gravity in BROWN- NYX regular-lip liner- stays put pretty well on mature lips L’Oréal Serum Foundation & their Highlighter you used, + some of their single pan blushes/bronzers 👍🏽 Fav blush/contour is my Physician’s Formula, Murumura powder-really love 💗 NYX Bare With Me Concealer; great for light coverage, lots of places I also enjoy a few No.7 products-a Mature Skin (?) foundation, & a bronzer And hv/use lots of Colourpop eyeshadows I DO hv a couple of NYX Butter bronzers/blushes, which are nice, but I find fade quickly, & over years hv purchased a couple of the Milani Luminiso blushes- like 👍🏽 Milani Lip Stains are decent (not great range), but aren’t 💯 matte, & appreciate Oh! And I agree, the Milani setting spray is great, AND I still use 2 of the Pixi Setting Sprays, sometimes. They’re many different DS products that are definitely good; worth the savings, b/c like you, I enjoy high-end eyeshadows, & a few gentle highlighters, as am “mature/dry.” Really enjoy yr content; I now just follow 3 channels re Beauty, incldg you! 🫶🏽 As a human ages, sure I enjoy looking my best, but my time is nded in myriad endeavors, & I spend less precious time on my looks. Your “One & Done Eyeshadows” is fantastic! Just loved‼️💗🫶🏽🔥

The Maybelline sky high is best after it's been open for a bit . When I get a new one I'll leave it open just a little for a day and it's a lot better. The sky high primer they came out with is the same way.

I love the L'oreal Lumi liquid blush in the shade Dewy Worth It. It's beautiful. My favorite setting spray hands down at the drugstore is L'oreal Infallible. It is a straight up dupe of the All Nighter. Which is my favorite setting spray. I also love L'oreal Lash Paradise mascara. I've used a million mascaras and always come back to this one. It's amazing.

I use the L'Oreal foundation, the Milan blush, the Fit Me pressed powder, the Age Rewind concealer (for evening out skintone, doesn't cover my dark circles) and the Sky High mascara. I never see anyone say a couple items. I worked at target for 3 years in beauty so tried a lot of products because we got samples and full size products for free. For Primer I have found I love the Revolution matte and fix mattify primer. For foundation I go between Almay smart shade ageless foundation for a lighter foundation. It hardly feels like anything is on. Also Maybelline fit me matte foundation is great. Concealer I agree with when I don’t use tarte I use the maybelline instant age rewind . That’s just some of my favs for those Elf has some great stuff to

i agree with a lot of. these, I love the Milani Baked blushes, Maybelline mascaras, NYX brow pencil, liquid eyeliners and lip liners and ELF setting spray. I prefer high end for products like eyeshadows, foundation, concealer, highlighter and primers though. NYX and ELF are such great affordable brands for most things

So many of these are go-to DS products that I love, in particular; Elf grippy primer is an absolute necessity in the ultra hot Phoenix metro area AZ weather. It has made it so that I no longer even get eyeglass marks on my nose or melting of foundation around my hairline even when it's over 112° with a 55°+ dew point! Also, I'm a fan of Nyx Slim Lip Pencils since I discovered the formula all the way back in like 2007-ish? They apply and wear just like MAC's lip pencil with MANY a dupe for MAC shades. And, I noticed that when you backwards brushed your brows with the Nyx Brow Glue, this time they stayed put! I already love their Microliner Brow pencil, but my brows are too pathetically sparse and stubborn for anything other than brow soap.

The infallible freshwater never worked on me. Both the original and the new formulation were so drying and cakey on me... which ist strange, since most drugstore foundations who are advertised as matt work on my dry skin without being to matt. I love the Catrice HD liquid coverage for example and don't find it to be matt at all.

I only like super micro pencils for brows and the maybelline pen. I used to like the ulta brand brow pencil. I've never found a good shade of a pencil at the drugstore in a micro pencil either.

Unfortunately, I tried the ELF Power Grip Primer and I HATED IT! If you have dry, flaky, and or textured skin it causes foundation to cling to those flaky/dry patches. I would much prefer a smoothing primer or skip primer for a good long lasting moisturizer.
