Gilbert Arenas was a good player then fell off the deep end with suspensions and injuries. It's not like he didn't perform at one point to give him that major contract. Their was worse contracts out their at the time that players got a lot of money and didn't even have the potential to perform at the contract level. I mean Rose played really well then all of a sudden got injured and he was no wear near the player he was. He was overpaid for the Bulls. However he was still a decent player.

I just watched Bradley Beal go for over 40 points the other night. He is averaging 18 ppg, 4 rpg, and 4 apg. I have watched several of his games and he has played very well. His only issue is that he has missed several games this year. But as far as his scoring average, it’s hard to score 25 points per game when you’re playing with Devin Booker, and Kevin Durant, who each score 25-30 per night. They are the focal points ahead of him. So I do not agree with Wilson about Bradley Beal. I think Austin Reaves should be on this list. The Lakers bumped him up to $14 million per year, but he is a defensive liability, only shoots 33% from 3, has way too many turnovers, and is not a clutch player.

Sure, the Timberwolves are the 1 seed in the West right now, but is this team the real deal come playoff time? And let's not forget that Gobert's contract (along with KAT's and Anthony Edwards' extension kicking in next year) eat a sizeable chunk of their salary cap and potentially into the second luxury tax apron which will jackknife their efforts of building a roster to make a deep run.
