Yes he played 68 games last year with good stats and efficiency, but that was a contract year so he was motivated to play through some pain. Now he can sit out as many games as he wants and collect his checks. I would probably do the same thing in his place since the Clippers will not win anything.

I really felt the "King of No Accountability" comment about Paul George. I been saying it since he left Indiana. In Indiana it was because of LeBron or because Indy sucked, whenever they lost. In OKC, it was Westbrook's fault if they lose. In LAC its Kawhi's health, his health or James Harden not playing well, when the Clippers lose. Everywhere he goes he underachieves and is over-credited. Still got All Star and All NBA team nominations despite not being a great defender anymore and averaging subpar numbers - still getting a pass to this day. The fact that Philly gave him that huge contract despite winning only ONE end season award in his 5 years as a Clipper means the league still gives him a pass.

Murray’s ppg have gone up little by little as well as his percentages. Still not great and his contract is still ridiculous until he makes an all star selection or improves his numbers more, it’s looking like it was a horrible decision. If he can average 21-25 ppg with over 45% from the field and at least 38% from 3 I would say he’s living up to his contract but so far he’s got a lot of work to do.

Jamal Murray is getting back on his feet by now and he is worth his contract. He came from deep consistent injury and him being at a top level isn't enough for the team success. Any Nuggets fan who actually watches the games knows that by now. Our worst problem is almost no one playing defense, the ass bench and the spacing. Unlike what you say we don't need another star, we could get that and be exactly like the Kings. What we need is good role players who can support Murray and Jokic. Also, Jokic won't request a trade because of Murray, if anything he would do it cause of the bad players that we have on our rooster.
