Not even close lol. The Sennheiser was the only one that came remotely close and they had a wire. The logitech mics were by far the worst with overly tinny voice sound and a crazy amount of background hiss. The logitech headsets had by far the most tinny voice quality. It sounds like you are talking through a tin can through those mics.
@trolzor016 жыл бұрын
T4iga the purpouse is a different one i guess. When making a video you want environmental noise and reverb so it sounds natural. When gaming, you just want the pure voice and not the sound of your 100decibel mechanical keyboard clicks and chipsbag so the micophones compresses the voice and filters the background noises out which causes them to sound so shitty and nasaly. You find the Razer and the g933 to sound more natural but Imagine playing CS and you always hear your mates mechanical keyboard.

I have the Logitech G933, for some reason I find the surround sound works best on it when it's not enabled. It's so accurate I feel like I may as well be playing with wallhacks. The audio this headset provides when gaming AND listening to music is so clear it's insane. I also tweaked with the EQ in the software to make music and other audio noticeably better. All the tools are there to provide yourself with your own experience, you just need to work out the best settings for you. Also, RGB.

Even though I made my choice with the HyperX and it's mostly a matter of taste and price/quality ratio for all of us, I can't help but notice that only Corsair & HyperX had one pair in the competition. The rest had two pairs. And yes, the mic on your wired ones is defo the best. The 30h battery life on the Cloud Flight is highest of all (Except the two 20h batteries of the Arctis Pro combined, which honestly means you'd be without a charging option for 40 hours? Really?). Gaming over a day continuously is too extreme, but so is gaming two days in a row even with a good night sleep. So charging them every three days is you gaming for a living. Meaning there's plenty of time to charge your set overnight even if playing aggressively for two days straight... Headphones got zero consumption while off and won't ruin the battery life/ capacity if left on the charging cable when full.
@Timbe915 жыл бұрын
Any chances you'll do an updated list for 2019? I'm currently using Sennheiser G4me Zero's, looking to upgrade, just want overall better sound, maybe stronger bass and more clear treble. Been hanging between SteelSeries Pro + Game DAC or the wireless version. Much confusion, such despair. At this rate I'll be forced to buy some undercounter broken / used panasonic headphones and a 2$ mic that's basically just a wire?! :'D

Ok. so I have reached to the point where you reviewed the mics and I dont know why but g933 mic which you said was pretty horrible sounded one of the best and most closest to your own recording mic. I have watched 2 times and I especially focused on g933 because I have it already for a while. I do agree all of these mics suck compared to wired but I suggest you listen the "finished product audio" a little bit more carefully, rather than the raw audio ouptut recording. One thing I always ask myself whenever you review a headset: Why do all the microphones sound so bad in your videos? I play online with many people that own wireless headsets - VOID Pro, Arctis 7, Logitech Headsets - and none of them sound as bad as you do! @oserus9996 жыл бұрын
I just got a pair of the Steel Series Arctis 7... I have zero regrets. While not nearly as bass heavy as my Skull Candy Crushers that they are replacing, the actual clarity of sound is incredible. I can not just hear things in games I never noticed before, but I can hear details in the sounds. Personally i found the surround positioning to be outstanding in games like PUBG and Darwin Project... definitely has saved my bacon a few times. I agree the fit may not be the best for overly large heads. For reference, I wear a hat size of 7 3/4 and it's just inside the comfortable range if I adjust the Velcro out just a bit from where is came. Any larger hat size would probably not be very comfortable. Oh, finally a shout out to the software. It has per game/app profile with allot of really detailed settings you can adjust exactly to your tastes. I can't say if they are better or worse in the rankings he gave in the video, these are just by own opinion on using them every day. =)

I wouldn't be surprised if mine gave up at any moment. Then again, that's been true for at least 6 months, which is fair, as I've been using them non-stop for 2 years. I started this comment with the intention of agreeing, but I think it's done well. Regardless of its problems, overall sound quality is great, after I've messed with the power switch for five minutes to get it working properly.

@@kay13591 the first batch of manowars had thin plastic pieces that held the headband. Im always extra careful with headphones/headsets, mine broke after 5 months of ultra heavy use. I traveled every day, stored them in my backpack, my head is large so i had to increase the headband lenght (which increases probability of them breaking), yet still they lasted 5 months. Of course razer provided me with another replacement headset which now has thicker pieces that hold the headband. Now i can recommend this headset cause it's been over a year and theyre still as good as new. If they ever break, you can be sure that razer or authorised reseller will provide you with replacement

The steelseries headbands are slightly adjustable for larger heads. The top piece of fabric has a velcro patch that you can loosen if need be. Also the steel series pro has both eq presets and custom eq settings so you tune it to your liking. The HyperX Cloud Flight has good mic quality on a pc but on ps4 the quality gets compressed further and just sounds terrible

The Razer ManoWar has to be the worst experience I've ever had and I have 2 other friends who bought it as we were getting a great deal. Build quality isn't the worst thing ever, but stretching the cups apart just to loosen the tension slightly has caused breakage and using it for a year, this thing has been giving me headaches all the time (2-3hrs per session on average). Both my friends have also commenting on weird fit and heat on the earcups. Avoid this no matter what. In fact, avoid all Razer products. I've had enough over so many years.

If you know how to take care of your things unlike some people, the G533 is a great headset, even better when you can get it half off. Not sure what he's on about in regards to the ear cups feeling like rough bathing suit material? Are bathing suits meant to be uncomfortable in his part of the world? Anyways, I find them perfectly comfortable and have never had any issues with the material feeling like "sand paper". The actual drivers in them are light years ahead of any other cheap headset on the market, which was the real reason why I bought them and why even in this review get real praise.
