I know... I was coming to write the same thing... lost half credibility in the first minute... Though, to be honest, there seems to be only one amplifier, so the one has the amp and the other is passive. I don't know if anyone can confirm this, but it looks that way from what I see.

But at that price it will be shit single amp per unit for each two speakers. In a decent studio monitor there will be bi-amps one for each speaker and a very tight crossover to ensure accuracy between speakers. You can't do that for less than £100 per speaker. These are combined amp and speakers and should be marketed as such. They are not flat response studio monitors as they are being advertised as. Luv and Peace,

I love my Presonus 3.5s, I think it's a myth that their bass response is poor. To my ear they slightly enhance lower frequencies like especially drums and bass tones. Drums are the hardest part of music production so I love this character. You will hear superb drum rolls and the real sound of acoustic toms jumping out! A great choice for your general playback in smaller flats and apartment setups. Perhaps a bit of semipro mixing as well if you cross check them against Senheisser headphones.
