What's worse than these plates is a non-elected organisation determining what can and cannot be expressed by people on their property. You have the liberty to take offense at whatever takes your fancy; know though that I have the liberty to speak and express myself unhindered. Especially on my own property. Next thing, they'll be telling us what bumper stickers we are allowed to have. I an not peeling any of mine. One for the road: "If the fetus you save is gay, will you continue to fight for it's rights?"

Entertaining story. Here in NC, there was a flower supplier a few years back that had a fleet of delivery vans with personalized license plates.The name is Walker Town Farm in Black Mountain, NC. For years their vehicles' plates were WTF-1, WTF-2 and so on. NC DMV recalled them.

Well idk for sure but it's not "speech". It's a government identification code that's stamped and displayed out in the open, so trying to keep them non offensive makes sense.... You have freedom to put bumper stickers on your car!
