In a few days Band--Maid and The Warning are doing a joint concert in Japan. It is The Warning's 1st time in Japan. Then they are doing a short tour on their own. The bands first met in 2022 at the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento but were already fans of each other. The Warning is 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. They have songs in English and Spanish.. They got first noticed in 2014 (ages 9 through 14) doing a cover of Enter Sandman on KZbin. The Warning Army can fill in more details.

Classically trained sisters when they were tiny little kids. When the youngest was just 9 years old they covered Metallica’s Enter Sandman in their basement for their grandparents in 2014. Seen by over 22 million viewers and by Metallica. Kirk Hammett said the 12 year old drummer kicks maximum a..! The youngest sister the bassist Ale affectionately called the ‘Thunder Goddess’ by fans, her bass work compared to the roar of diesel locomotives. The drummer, middle sister Pau, recognized as DRUMEO’s Best Rock Drummer of 2023. She can sing lead with intensity or break your heart with ballads WHILE drumming. Nothing will prepare you for her performances. Eldest sister Dany, recognized by her peers and idols. Matt Bellamy of Muse and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm had specially made guitars gifted to her in recognition of her guitar skills. Dany’s vocal talents also recognized that Three Days Grace invited her to be their frontwoman for their song Painkiller. Metallica invited them to rework Enter Sandman with Canadian singer Alessia Cara for the Blacklist album. Each sister can take turns singing lead, play the piano, sing in English, Spanish, French and a bit of Japanese. Can’t wait to see what they will do with Band Maid!

The Warning Army is quite quite large and vociferous and I just thought I would add to that. These women are great. They have restored my faith in performers who believe not only in their music and their message, but what it means to their fans. It is music from the heart. They write, sing, play and perform well beyond their years. Their music is well crafted and delivered in studio but 100 times better live and they are simply a spectacle to behold. I have only seen them live once but it will always be treasured in my memories as a great live experience. Long live The Warning.

Whenever possible, react to the warning live! Their videos are always good. That one was done in 2 hrs. With iphones and a drone in an auto dealership. ANYTHING from the teatro metropolitan cdmx show is good and is pro shot. Along with band maid, best live bands around. For earlier stuff, the lunario concert and yes, the mtv mva performance of evolve and more showcase them at their best in front of an audience whom 90% had never heard of them.

All I know is that they rock hard and have catchy songs that will be the ear worms you've been looking for. I have this weird hobby of seeing reactors discover The Warning and be amazed. And I envy you because you are about to embark in a wonderful rock journey, a tremendous catalog of more than 50 songs as of today, a unique sound taking from grunge and punk and metal and classic but still being none of those. OMG! You watched this video for 3 minutes and never noticed that there were only 3 member??? The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed. In 2023 they celebrated 10 years as The Warning”. It is important to understand that their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them. In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto KZbin. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 25 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were completely caught off guard by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing hours every day separately and even more hours together). In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was a mix of different kinds of songs as they sorted out their musical style. They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood). They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for, and won, many Independent Music awards in 2019. In 2022 their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing! Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs (either while drumming, or while at the keyboard, or just out front). Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing! They have all given master classes on their instruments and song writing and performing (even as young as 18 years old). They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and their absolute idols Muse. In 2022 they played 103 concerts in South American and North America. In 2023 they played 75 concerts dates in 13 different countries all over the world. The band was names “Best Live Band” for 2023. Paulina (drummer) was named “Up and Coming Drummer” for 2023 Paulina was also named “Best Rock Drummer” for 2023 by Drumeo Magazine. Just 3 sisters, Daniela aka Dany age 24 (guitar, lead and backing vocals, piano), Paulina aka Pau age 22 (drums, lead and backing vocals, piano), and Alejandra aka Ale age 19 (bass guitar, piano, backing vocals) These are their songs written and arrange by them. Welcome to The Warning Army, the sisters are (in my opinion) one of the best power trios around . Although that is no surprise to fans as Muse are one of their favourite bands and a big influence on their sound. I would suggest finding some live performances, especially the one they did for the VMA's a few months ago.
